The timing of your video doesn’t make sense. Close your eyes and imagine what you should do with the steak. Then mute the volume and watch it. Capture the times for each. Very inconsistent. As someone who wants to make a steak like this. It is pretty confusing. This doesn’t even count the stuff you did with the potatoes. How long did you leave them in the “water I presume”. I can keep going. Sure I can use common sense to understand everything. But if I’m looking to make exactly what you made it has not been described in a super understanding way. Good video otherwise. I’ll “read in between” the cooking lines.

lamb or goat is 100% the superior biriyani meat. beef imo is too rich and chicken is a little weak.

As someone who has worked as a cook for a few years: season salt is fantastic. It's a really easy way of adding more flavor especially if you don't know how to cook very well it's great.

The trick is actually to undercook the prime rib to rare and then finish it off by boiling it whole(so it doesn’t pull the moisture out of the meat) in au jus or gravy to desired temp

I would disagree fairly strongly. I don’t like tomatoes in an aluminium or metal tin because they are acidic. Mix in cherry tomatoes perhaps with fresh standard tomatoes. Go for plum tomatoes.

Nah it's just because you Americans can't cook. Either you salt and overflavour everything or you just trow things inside a pan without logic. Even with cheap salsa or ingridients, here in Italy, you can make a good pasta. The logic about "top and by so expensive" ingredients it's just another consumistic shit.

For said green stuff he uses parsley, try adding a pinch of dill as well. Doesn't make it taste like pickles but the little bit of umami works well with the sweetness of the carrots

My mom learned from grandma and taught me to also think in terms of a chain of meals: a “primary meal” can be repurposed into something else for leftovers. So: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and veggies can be turned easily into shepherd’s pie for the next night instead of just reheating those 3 components in the microwave. So many meals can be casserolled for the next meal! Rotisserie chicken, rice, and broccoli? Add some cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup to that in a pyrex dish, cover with bread crumbs and cheese, in the oven to bake!
