I bought a tin from seeing you use it so much. I’m painting all the risers on my stairs black and they look ace.

Good solid door Matt. I was surprised you didn't install any diagonal stiles to prevent it racking in the long term

That's a really solid looking door. I really hope it works - my experience with T&G panels like that is that they aren't very stable in dimensions widthways. Yours is so solidly fixed with those dowels that it can't go anywhere - so I hope that won't result in any splitting along the length.

Raise you saw blade so that the bottom of the gullets just clear the top surface of the wood. This will improve the sawdust clearance in the kerf and make the saw motor work a little easier.

Good solid build there Matt, Looking forward to the rest of the build, after all it wouldn't be Badger Workshop without a shed build every six months or so - not a criticism we love it ! 😉 It's a great idea to make much of the components before building the main structure, especially as they can be made inside if the weather is not conducive ! I do hope you're going to make your detailed plan available on your Etsy store - work of art ! 😂

You can never have enough sheds. I have a small workshop as well Matt, it’s a right royal pain in the asterisk having to constantly move stuff around and then move it back again…Then move it again. The yanks don’t know how lucky they are.

The yanks really do make me laugh. One of them has a shop on his "home workshop" channel that is, I kid you not, about the size of my local [sizeable] builders merchant. On this same channel he has a space inside the shop where they park their van and it always makes me laugh that the space allocated to park their van is about twice the size of my entire little shed.

I'd like to build a shed/workshop but have no idea of the costs of materials. My neighbour recently paid £2.5k for a decent 10x12 shed with no windows. That's way beyond my budget but is it much cheaper to DIY? Is wood expensive?
