The hoard grows ever stronger! If all of those inverters that I get seem to have about 30000kwh of generation through them when they fail, then that is about £7500 at 25p/kwh. That seems to be about the cost of an installed system. Pretty much a zero return on investment and then you can either repair it or remove it, but both are beyond the scope of the typical householder!

@@bootsowen There's such a diverse number of elements to consider, but I assume Joe Average will think along your lines. FITs made some difference but also put the installation cost up. Who knows but I enjoy running our system, cheers

My henry is 15+ years old and just replaced motor for £30 last year. Hose parts are cheap and machine is easy to repair.
