ohhh they remind me of the moai. as an avid fan of little creatures with teeny eyes, these designs are top tier ❤

Love these, I started pottery during the first lockdown and have loved learning ceramics. You have inspired me to try and make a full chess set!

It looks great. The long noses and pronounced brows were a really nice touch, they give the pieces a lot of character.

Brilliant. I'm also in the process of making a chess set for my partner from scratch, and have been watching these videos as inspiration. Your chess pieces are beyond unique, and have an amazing raw quality to them. I love how much it looks like a little village. The end product is incredible!!!

I'm not as enthusiastic about the final product as most commenters, but I do love how you made design choices: thinking ahead just enough and doing things that match your skill. I would pre-plan the entire design and then struggle when it doesn't work out as planned 🤷♂

Really love your comment, I think you’ve picked up on a really important message here. I started this channel as a way to force myself out of my perfectionist tendencies and its worked. I go into situations now with little expectation, focusing on learning and enjoying the whole process and its wonderful. I hope you find a way to do that too, its so freeing!
