as a fellow acorn-collecting goblin, make sure that none of the acorns you take into your house have little holes in them! Those are from acorn weevils layin' their eggs inside. They may be cute but their babies are horrible little grubs who I did not appreciate finding in my home among my trinkets

The hole is actually made when the larvae exit. When the weevil lays the egg, the acorn is still on the tree and the insertion hole heals and closes.
@MouseyKireena3 ай бұрын
So I learned something about acorns you might find fascinating! When the trees drop them with their hats, they've actually been "infected" by an acorn weevil. So they're dropped with the hat to kind of trap them in there and keep them from coming back. Acorns you find without their hats are actually the fully developed seeds, and their hats are still on the tree.

Idk if anyone has mentioned this but the cartridge pleating WAS worth all of your hard work. Different gathers and pleats lie different, and cartridge pleats create intentional vertical gathers which helps the fabric lay right where it’s all gathered up (ie it’s less “bulky”). Random gathers that happen from using a wide stitch and just, gathering, would give you a lot more bulk of fabric at the waist and leg bands, as well as they wouldn’t poof as nicely and uniformly. It would be noticeably different lol

@@BuffyNTinkDidImprov Yes, you slowly explore the backyard and find new creatures, some of which you fight and some of which are friends. You can build bases and unlock recipes to create new things, food, building plans, weapons, armor, etc. It's also very 80's coded so definitely takes some inspiration from Honey, I shrunk the kids and the Borrowers!
