I tried making pasta today without letting it rest since it automatically extrudes the pasta after 3 min. Texture was okay but could have been better. Will try to rest at least 10 minutes next time by pausing the machine. Thanks for the tip!

@@LucidProductReviews I made ziti using freshly milled hard white wheat berries. I put them in the water before it was quite boiling, so they collapsed and were flat. They tasted good, tho. Nex t time, I will let them air dry and make sure the water is at a rolling boil. The machine worked perfectly to extrunde them. I'm going to try shells next. My recipe: 400g hard whilte wheat berries, milled fine; 185g filtered water. Combine flour and water thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for at least an hour to let the flour hydrate. The dough should be crumbly, but not dry.

I have made several batches of pasta using FMF, whole grain hard white, hard red, or combo. I find it super easy to clean if I leave the machine and its parts for the next day. The dough dries, shrinks and practically falls off (or out) with little to no effort. If one doesn't use the egg, one can refrigerate or freeze the pasta for latter. Thanks for these tips.

Do you know what the blade is made out of? I can’t seem to verify if it’s stainless steel or if it has teflon coating. I would think FMF wouldn’t be good with teflon :/

@ it isn’t stainless steal but it doesn’t look like it is Teflon coated either. It seems heavier than aluminum and definitely lighter than cast iron (both in color and in weight). It is silver-ish. TBH-IDK.

The ramen noodles need baked baking soda added for the unique color and smell. If it's just flour and water you're essentially making udon or somen.

Not helpful: 6:47 This sticker consists of two pieces and can be disassembled. Besides, it is not advisable to scrape out the sticky and sticky dough....Wait until it dries and shrinks. Then it will fall out of the holes almost by itself, and if it doesn't, it will fall out in one piece when pushed with the needle.

To clean the things I usually wait until the day after. The dough is dry and it become clean just shaking it

How in the world do you get all the does in the drawer? Am I crazy or do they all not fit?
@LucidProductReviews7 ай бұрын
Yes, all the discs fit in the storage drawer. Please check out our detailed review on this Philips Pasta Maker 7000: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJScYWSipJmUi8k
