Your daughter is so attentive and you can tell that she is so interested in making the bread. You are a great mom for teaching her the art of bread making. That doesn't happen for other children in this day and age, unfortunately.

Let share a tip if you have a kitchen aid classic mixer do not attempt this in it it is not big enough. I found that out today when I started this bread. I had bad mess in my hands. But I averted disaster and told myself to not give up and I pour the dough in a biggest bowl I had and stirred by hand and kept adding flour till it got shaggy and pulled away from bowl. Not gonna lie had some moments of panic I was not going to save this but I did! I just kneading it till I got it somewhat not so sticky and proofed like usual and so far I got 4 big loaves I only had 9-5 tins so I used those. Looks good to me maybe not as pretty as yours in the video but the stomach knows not ugly!

I like to slice the bread too before freezing. It's more work to slice before freezing but worth it. So handy to have it sliced. Homemade bread 🍞 can be so yummy.

Thank you for sharing with us Amy! Love your videos! Side note: As a fluffy 41 year old, who is pregnant with our 4th kiddo, I might be just a tad bit too big to be sittin on santa's lap sharing my wants (especiallythis year)... but, I sure wish santa would slide one of those Bosch mixers under the tree for me! My 4 yr old niece has agreed to ask santa to bring her auntie one for Christmas... of course, that is in exchange for her auntie purchasing her the bike, skates and 'LOL' dolls that she wants bc "santa can not carry all of it at the same time"......

Where do you get the bread sleeves that you store the bread and what does lecithin do to making the bread? I'm just getting into bread making. I love you tutorial. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Amy! I absolutely LOVE this bread recipe and I really appreciate you sharing. I was wondering if you could help me reduce the batch recipe. It makes just a little too big of a batch for me to handle all at once. If I could cut it down to about half that would be perfect for my family. I wasn’t sure if I could just divide the ingredients in half and it still turn out the same. Thanks for all your help.

I would definitely try a half recipe and I think it should turn out just fine.

Those are such beautiful loaves! I’m sure your assistant is your secret ingredient for making them extra delicious. 🥰 Chloe is such an eager helper and has such a sweet spirit. Wonder where she gets that from? 😉 I really need a Bosch mixer in my life! It makes such short work of large projects. I just need to justify the cost (and the space it would take up) to myself since I live alone and, sadly, don’t have a reason to use it often. I’m envious of those who have them and have a reason to use them regularly! Best wishes, Amy! 💕💕

A wonderful simple and no knead recipe! Thank you!!
@Lucinda_Jackson3 жыл бұрын
The dough hooks in the mixer did the kneading... If you don’t have a mixer with dough hooks, you would need to knead it yourself.

6 cups of water seems like so much! I’m up to 8 cups of flour and there’s so much dough!! It’s also still very liquidity, I’ve stolen a large bowl from the barn to hold it all. 🤨 I’ll keep adding more flour and hope I haven’t wasted all these ingredients. Lol

Can you please help me with the difference between white flour and wheat flour? With wheat flour do you mean whole wheat, and with white flour you mean normal white wheat flour?
@PositivelyAmy2 жыл бұрын
When I say white flour, I am referring to just regular bread flour. The wheat flour is whole wheat flour.

When roasting a chicken I save the chicken fat and store it in feeezer. When ready to bake, add the fat ( instead of the oil) with the honey. The fat ads a depth of flavor without the chicken flavor.

The link to the Bosch mixer says it’s currently out of stock. They suggest another but doesn’t look like it can stand up to this recipe. So disappointed! I’ve never seen a mixer that does such a good job kneading bread.

plain white bread for a plain midwest girl.... i digress. If one finds whole wheat flour too heavy, they have WW pastry flour to help...
