It's so cool seeing how this animation was made, and in the end made it really cool to watch! Seeing the mix of 2D and 3D! Great Video!

That's very flattering, thank you! I learned the basics of 2D/3D blending from a KZbin tutorial by Dédouze. I highly recommend his channel if you want to see & learn more about it ^^ Wishing you luck w/ your animations!

Thank you! I understand, I've definitely had days where I did NOT feel like animating ^^; What helps me is to break down projects into smaller, more manageable pieces with checkpoints! When I reach a checkpoint I force myself to take a break (even if I feel like I can keep going) so that I don't burn out. Hope this helps, & good luck w/ your projects!

Good eye, that placeholder checkerboard water was there for most of production. The final version of the ocean that has waves actually eats up a lot of processing power on my computer, so it was one of the last things made!

1:56 yeah uhhh blender can be difficult at times... i dont even know how to even use its physics thing. i only recently figured out how paths work. which can make me not need to move the root of a character model manually but. that was funny with the sound effects added. (minutes later after making comment) I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO STOP THE CUBE FROM PHASING THROUGH A PLANE!!!!!
@ScribbleSpecters2 жыл бұрын
Nice, keep it up! I'll probably have to learn that path thing sometime, it sounds super useful :0
@Boomrainbownuke96082 жыл бұрын
@@ScribbleSpecters a lot of the stuff ive usually used blender for was rigging 3D model's i made with wings3D but i started using blender for the modeling at some point. the first animation i made with blender was 2 years ago and i first started making 3D models 10 years ago. also the way the path works is that you go to add then curve then select path the left side of the path is the end point while the right is the starting point. the follow path constraint is in object constraints. just a heads up the object that follows the path will veer off if there is a break in the path.
