MAKS 2017 - Su-57 Flight Display - HD 50fps

Wonderful flight display of the Su-57 (earlier T-50) by Sergey Bogdan and Sergey Chernyshev (Сергей Богдан, Сергей Чернышев), both first-class test pilots of the Sukhoi Company. This is Russia's latest and most modern 5th generation fighter aircraft, and the flight display was performed on 21st of July during MAKS 2017 at the Ramenskoe airport in Zhukovskiy.
The Sukhoi Su-57, previously designated T-50 (Сухой Су-57 / T-50) is a single-seat, twin-engine, stealth fighter aircraft with multirole capability but designed for air superiority and attack operations. This jet aircraft is the product of the PAK-FA (ПАК-ФА, Перспективный авиационный комплекс фронтовой авиации, literally "Prospective Aviation Complex of Frontline Aviation"), a fifth-generation fighter programme of the Russian Air Force. The first prototype performed the maiden flight on January 29, 2010. Deliveries of production aircraft to the Russian Air Force are expected to begin in 2018.
The fighter is intended to succeed the MiG-29 and Su-27 in the Russian Air Force and to serve as the basis for the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) while complementing the recently built fleets of SU-35S and SU-30SM. The initial production batch are to be delivered with a highly upgraded variant of the AL-31F engine, extensively used by the Su-27 family while a totally new turbofan jet powerplant is being designed from scratch. In fact the first prototype of this engine has already been fitted into a SU-57 airframe and has already begun testing.
The Su-57 has a blended wing body fuselage and incorporates all-moving horizontal and vertical stabilizers. The aircraft incorporates thrust vectoring nozzles and has adjustable leading edge vortex controllers (LEVCONs) that improve high angle of attack behaviour. The advanced flight control system and thrust vectoring nozzles make the aircraft highly maneuverable in both pitch and yaw, enabling it to perform post-stall maneuvers such as the Pugachev's Cobra and the Bell maneuver, along with doing flat rotations with little altitude loss. The aircraft's high cruising speed and normal operating altitude is also expected to give it a significant kinematic advantage over older fighter jet generations.
The aircraft will make extensive use of composites; on the first prototype, composites comprise 25% of the structural weight and almost 70% of the outer surface. Weapons are housed in two tandem main weapons bays between the engine nacelles and smaller bulged, triangular-section bays near the wing root. Internal weapons carriage eliminates drag from external stores and enables higher performance compared to external carriage, as well as enhancing stealth. This is the same trick used by the American F-22 Raptor and F-35 JSF/Lightning II. Advanced engines and aerodynamics enable the Su-57 to supercruise, which is the ability to maintain sustained supersonic flight without using afterburners. Combined with a high fuel load, the fighter has a supersonic range of over 1,500 km, more than twice that of the Su-27. In the Su-57's design, Sukhoi addressed what it considered to be the F-22's limitations, such as its inability to use thrust vectoring to induce roll and yaw moments and a lack of space for weapons bays between the engines, and complications for stall recovery if thrust vectoring fails.

Maybe after a few 100 billion dollars more are wasted they will have the great fighter they had hoped for:( What's interesting is that my favorite US fighter the F-16 Fighting Falcon even after over 40 yrs of service will be operational for yrs to come because it's still a relatively low coast capable plane to operate and maintain which was its intended purpose.

They could easily borrow a trillion dollars from China, just like US did and have 1000 of SU 57, 5000T14 and 10.000 of drones, but they are not stupid! It's like doing a " Cobra"! Bunch of armchair aviators are up in arms over the Tactical application of the maneuver, which amuses Russians more than anything! Just because it can be done, doesn't mean anything except that it can be done! Yet,people on KZbin are bunch of ADD babies who want it all and want it yesterday! Russian military budget is something of 8% over US,yer with their smart doctrine of asymmetrical warfare they tied the whole NATO in knots! Just if you wonder, I am a US citizen and I pay taxes for every single stupid decision that Military Industrial complex makes! F35 - trillion dollars in developing and research! 12 aircraft carriers each without the planes around 10 billion and that's only the new ones! We don't have free medical, free schools, speed trains, our cities don't shine, well except NY! 21 trillion dollars in foreign debt, man we suck at being a empire! Russia was a failed state, just 15 years ago, it had a civil war and corruption that almost destroyed their recourses! In 15 years, inspite of the sanctions, deliberate efforts to undermine their economy with lower gas prices, etc. Little by little Russia became a World player in all departments and within 15 years they will become a major player!

Не могу никак привыкнуть к планеру истребителя. Пилотаж более чем впечатляющий, а... какой-то не родной. Должно пройти, наверное, время. Над моим загородным домом часто летают С-57 и 35-е (рядом военный аэродром). Недавно отрабатывали ускорения, после зависания на месте в воздухе. Необычное зрелище. Похоже на старт ракеты. Зрелище достойное, и вероятно это станет частью элементов шоу программ с СУ-57. ✊✋👌🙋‍♂️

I think you are correct, they are talking about "Шеф Пилот" (Shef Pilot), That is chief pilot, or 'chefpilot'. Im just wondering will the Mark 2 engine have its exhaust in a such a way so that it release's minimal heat like f 22 exhaust since it looks so badass futuristic as hell and also the stealth coating have they developed such a paint that absorbs electromagnetic radiation's?these two things i hope to be implemented in future Sukoi's

For the time being, I've seen exhaust of the 'Izdeliye 30' and it has sharp zigzag edges to reduce radar signal reflections. About the rest, I don't have a clue.

У этой камеры нет стабилизации, как у другой, поэтому я добавляю программную стабилизацию после производства. Вот почему самолет выходит из рамки. Мы проверяли вещи. Не очень хороший результат, но все же стоит поделиться. Будет больше видео, как это.
