Thanks for the information that I can apply on 17 February for arrival on 20 February, i.e. 3 days before arrival. A Bruneian friend said that it should be on 18, 19, or 20th, which is not within 3 days of arrival. Also useful to know that digital or printed form of the card is acceptable. Elsewhere on the web it says only digital and I am sure you are aware of the 'within 3 days' vs 'at least 3 days' contradiction all over the web.

Further to my comment above on dates, the registration form says 'Please note that your trip must be within 3 days (including the date of submission)' which does indeed sound like what my Bruneian friend said, i.e. including the date of submission for arrival on 20th Feb, would mean submission on the 18th, i.e. the 3 days being 18th, 19th, 20th. Not clear at all!

@88klac Your friend in correct. For a 6th departure the first day I can apply is the 4th and not the 3rd.

I understood one has to apply for the digital arrival card within three days of arrival, not at least three days before arrival. Which is it?

for student visa there is no fixed return date from malaysia then what will be date of departure

I went to Malaysia and could use the Autogates immediatly without using the manual counter. Is that normal or do i missed an important step?

Come on $39 dollars for the MDAC? Rather steep? I would understand something like $10 but not $39. I know the MDAC website is slow and the 3 days rule is not true. It is more like 2 days before departure.

Hello, what if I will do ho chi minh to johor bahru, then johor bahru to kuala lumpur, then kuala lumpur to ho chi minh. Do i only make MDAC when I arrive in johor bahru? Or even in kuala lumpur? Thank you
