@@TheCultureCommentary It's like she's repeating what she's heard from others without actually thinking it through which is why the actual idea she's trying to express isn't clear to herself either? Effectively what she's probably trying to say that women are viewed as sex objects, right? I'm assuming here that the fact that she hasn't elaborated the idea to herself means that she hasn't taken ownership of the idea by thinking it through. But that's not true for women that others don't find attractive. What she's leaving out is that men are objectified too but just for a different thing. In the end everyone is "oppressed" by reality itself by being treated as something other than themselves. If you're attractive then people will project their wishes onto you possibly giving you unwanted attention and if you're not then they'll ignore you in that sense for not being interesting enough. I find this simple enough so I wonder why she's having such a hard time expressing this in a more balanced manner. People who don't know what they themselves think shouldn't be trying to convince others that the other is wrong.

@BBBorTripB3 жыл бұрын
@@toopshigher4037 there are no seperate requirements to men as there is woman, there are a set of requirements that you must meet to get in. Predominantly men are the ones who get into it. Women still get into it but a lot less due to a number of factors. The woman is saying they need to lower those requirements to allow women to actually get into it because they can’t succeed in whatever those requirements are. But then that takes away “being the best” if you lower those requirements a lot more men are also going to be able to get into the military but what you now create is a weaker army.
