Very unique - Some Maleko stuff are just noisemakers - this one is genuinely useful. I'm sold.

my greatest fear is that I buy this and am too stupid to make it useful.

Statistics say you´re not going to make much money recording a song wherein this is used. Might as well buy it.

Oddly, that opening brought to mind something that I haven't thought of in at least a couple decades: Popcorn, an odd early synth piece that Wikipedia says was "composed by Gershon Kingsley in 1969 and first appearing on his album Music to Moog By."

this pedal would've made it easier on Eddie way back when he first did "Cathedral". Mike does great demos. As guitarists we are living in a time of embarrassing plenty. Tons of great gear and great demos to watch by a bunch of guys ( Mike on here, Andy at PGS, JustNick,Pete Thorn, Bill Ruppert over at EHX). I spend too much time enjoying all of them. We are Modern Romans. :)

This pedal HAD to be inspired by Adrian Belew ! I really love these way out, wacky devices. Oh what the hell.....I'm in !

I have EHX Attack Decay... Tempted to AB them... Poly mode in EHX sounds more (digital) colored than this Sneak Attack...

I can't help thinking that Hendrix would have wanted to mess with one of these, but I can barely imagine what would have come out if it. Anyone think they can reasonably channel Hendrix's creativity for this. I want to hear it.

For a amp that has a effects loop, would this go thru the effects with the delay, or can it go straight thru the amp?

question. if one had unlimited pedalboard space, Sneak Attack or Philosopher King?
@RED_indiemusic

They are both great. The only thing the Sneak Attack does not have compared to the PK is the sustain and compression features. So if you were to get the Sneak attack, you are only getting half the features the PK offers, IMPO.

PK is also much more externally controllable: also has two high impedance expression inputs to control attack and decay, and a CV control signal input to remotely control amplitude modulation and a CV out to control amplitude modulation of other gear!

Yes, this type of pedal doesn’t use pitch detection so it’s a non-issue.
