Man accused of killing Toronto police officer found not guilty

Jurors found Umar Zameer not guilty of first-degree and second-degree murder in the killing of Toronto police Det.-Const. Jeffrey Northrup in July 2021. They also found Zameer not guilty of manslaughter caused by dangerous driving.
