I pulled records on him and he lived in the same apartment since Jan 2024. Unit 513 and hers was 520, so they were for sure neighbors.

He did earn a BS in nursing in 2022. No official source said he is employed by Providence. He holds an Oregon RN license since he graduated in 2022. I’m sure people will start coming forward who knew him

Bryce Schubert worked at Portland Providence Medical Center from September 2022 to October 2023. Providence says Providence does not employ Schubert at this time and has never been employed at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, where Melissa Jubane worked.

As a nurse, if we don't show up for our shifts it's a bad sign. Night shift or day shift has to give us report and continue patient care before they can go home. I have to be unconscious and can't physically call to no show for work.

Reminds me of the Annie Le case, where she was killed day before she was about to be married by a co-worker, who worked in the same building and sometimes in the same room. Maybe the same motive.
