What's unbelievable is that he got as far into the plane and into his seats. Why wasn't he stopped before that?

Exactly! I understand the need for them to comply and they should have listened but they did not need to be treated like animals. This should have been addressed before getting in the plane! Both passengers and staff were in the wrong!

@@Bob31415 First, this could have been avoided if TSA or desk staff took proper measures to realize he shouldn’t have boarded the plane, doctor’s note or not. Had his bleeding not been from cosmetic surgery and he had an injury or incident at the airport, his condition shouldn’t have been overlooked period. Something tells me due to lack of staffing and proper training that he fell through the cracks. Shocker! That’s one. The other issue is once boarded and the flight staff noticed they could have asked him to step aside where his condition could have been addressed less openly. There they would have realized he had broken English and may need a translator to explain the situation better for him to understand. He clearly was confused bc he thought he was doing what was established in his doctor’s note. Let’s also pretend that if this isn’t a language barrier, that maybe he could have an intellectual delay. Even if he’s an adult doesn’t mean he understands everything with purpose. My son is 21 and looks like an average adult but you explain logistics in a manner he doesn’t understand or defined in words he doesn’t comprehend, then he’s going to continue to think his way is still the most rational way, just like this gentleman on the plane. For some reason intellectual or developmental disabilities get looked at like people are stupid when in fact they just need things explained differently. Since the flight attendants didn’t take those measures, they called security. Here’s the kicker - proper TRAINING and nonviolent action is what security is taught, especially when there’s no violence involved- which there wasn’t. The passenger wasn’t complying but he wasn’t being made to understand why either. No one was taking their time to be patient with this man bc that’s the problem with everyone. They’re undertrained, understaffed, uneducated, impatient, impulsive, hot headed, unaware, misguided and lack compassion. They get a paycheck to fill a vacant job, instead of taking a job they’re passionate about. Not to mention bc companies are so eager to fill these vacant spots, they lack proper training such as customer service, time management, team building, working with diversity or mentally challenged etc. So to answer your question - this could have been resolved with nonviolent responses, understanding people better, more educated staffing and a world that thrives in humanity rather than negativity. Be part of the solution genius - not the problem!

At the end of the day if the passenger was bleeding without effort to clean up and cover up it is hazardous and the crew will not fly with that. It is better to deal with it on the ground than 30k in the air and have to divert. Once blood is anywhere on the seat/ table we have to call hazardous cleaning and delay more flights. Why TF was he even aloud on the plane in the first place? They (He) went through baggage drop off, TSA, and boarding to sitting in their (His) seats. I have more questions for the airlines than the dude with a bloody scalp. It's called Blood Borne Pathogens. Simply put that ISH should've been shut down the moment they (He) walked into the airline terminal. SMFH

How many videos do people have to see of passengers ignoring flight attendants and being forcibly removed -- then taken to jail? Everyone should know by now that failing to follow the requests of a flight attendant is a federal offense.

I was in a high school football game years ago and there was a fight underneath the bleachers I had a police officer walking through the stands about 10 minutes later he spotted me and asked me if I'd come with him, i did just go with him no problem, the description of one of the perpetrators was a short guy with dark hair I'm short at that time had dark hair he asked me for ID I gave it to him instantly he immediately saw I was not the person apologized thanked me and I left went back up to the football game. My point is why is it whenever people are asked to do something by the police they would rather fight than just do it and get done, these two should be jailed.

The airline was right to deny the couple to fly. The husband and wife are playing victims. Just because the medical facility gave them a letter means nothing. There was no discrimination in this case. The couple had an elective cosmetic procedure. I hope the authorities investigate the facility. Woho release a patient who is bleeding from their wounds? There is also a health issue because this man is bleeding and sitting with other passengers. Also, what if he collapses mid-flight from cabin pressure? Any sensible person would have made an inquiry to the airline before purchasing tickets.😮

No one in that Airport or on that Airlines knew what diseases he could have that could possibly be contagious or contracted. When asked to disembark from the plane they should have quietly done so with dignity. It appears that they’re looking for a lawsuit payout.

I'm sorry, but when you STILL have blood visible on your head, then YES someone will speak up. The fact that NOONE cleaned up that blood makes EVERYONE worry! Originally I thought the blood was from the wife, but what kind of hair transplant facility allows a patient to walk out with blood visible??? On top of that, you only make yourselves look like fools when you resist arrest, but claim discrimination when you fail to listen to police orders.
