Coward really is a town in South Carolina, a very small rural town. No stop light, a convenience store, a tiny "park" and that's about it. Most of the women aren't beauty queens, but the men are no great catch either. Some of my family members live in that area and went to the same school. She was always "manly looking" according to them. Sometimes, she helped my uncle working on his tobacco farm. The judge was wrong saying that police can't lie during an investigation. The Supreme Court ruled in Frazier v. With my illness, managing simple tasks are almost impossible, for instance, I will huddle in fear for months, unable to open emails, fill in important paperwork, reach out to mental health help. Make and attend doctor visits...some of these things can take as long as 6 months to persuade myself to even make an important phone call. BUT I TELL YA. If I had my dead husband's corpse under a trailer on land with an abode on it, where I could live for free (that's one BIG issue delt with, rent/mortgage) and all I had to do was pay taxes twice a year (that's how taxes are collected where I live), you dawn sure I would get my shit together; and, if I couldn't, would reach out to a friend or put a notice on line for a roommate/tenant and that would give me extra income and if I'm paralyzed in fear, set it all up with the bank so that it's automatic. So I've got free rent, extra income, and I stay out of jail. She has to pay rent somewhere and even if she didn't, she could have charged rent. (Sounds like she didn't even get the sale money since the municipality probably oy sold the land for what they were owed. I would be SO GRATEFUL to have this miracle drop in my lap that I wouldn't squander it. I'm furious she let such trivial issues ruin everything for her.

As to why she didn't move the dead body, or stay in the trailer: it WAS her conscientiousness-- or paranoid psychosis-- that gave her away. Dr. Todd doesn't understand that it's a terrifying prospect to live with-- let alone MOVE, a dead body by yourself, if you've never done it before-- especially if you MURDERED the innocent person; and if you ask anyone else to help, you have WITNESSES. She wasn't mentally stable to begin with, so she was just too terrified to stay there-- i.e. she feared his GHOST, and her "tell-tale heart."
