@MeganVictoriaKearns Жыл бұрын
Skreemqueen 75: I agree with you. Katey is 100% innocent. (In my humble opinion, anyway 😊 ) But are you pointing to her consistent, flat-out refusals to take a plea deal as evidence pointing to her being innocent all along? Because a lot of very guilty people sit in prison right now, steadfastly refusing to take a plea deal. And a lot of those refusing to take deals are in the situation where simply pleading guilty to the crime would result in a determination of "time served" and the person would be immediately released once pleading. And EVEN THEN, with the guarantee of their release upon their guilty plea, these totally guilty people will STILL refuse to take responsibility for their actions and essentially choose incarnation over freedom simply to dig in their heels and not admit guilt. Basically I'm trying to say that earnest refusal to take a plea deal isn't, on it's own, necessarily evidence supporting innocence.

When a criminal frames someone else for their own crime, does that framing constitute a second chargeable crime, or does the victim of the framing have only civil litigation as the only recourse for justice for their being framed? 15 months in jail just waiting for trial before having charges dropped before trial -- is a felony sentence in itself! The most obvious clue to a person's guilt is when they consistently change their story when interviewed. An innocent person, has one version and it doesn't differ . This dude was throwing multiple version's at the police to see and hope that one would stick. Of course everyone that is Guilty will plead that they are innocent to get out of jail (what do they have to lose ?) He is lucky to get life with no parole and not be hanged for his crime. Most criminals are NOT smart and make mistakes.
