NMSP Officers we’re looking for a person of interest, when a vehicle fled away from officers, the driver fled on foot and Officer caught up with the driver, but it wasn’t the subject they had been looking for
The driver did have a suspended license and was charged with fleeing

Click bait or not, it's still a good video! These kind of videos show that police actually do care about the public they protect & serve! They did their job not only arresting this guy, but they tried offering resources he could contact to help get himself in a better place in life. I absolutely commend the officer's in the video AND all the other brothers & sisters.

I like how all "NMSP" vehicles per State policy must be clearly marked police vehicles, these vehicles are known as GHOST vehicles. A clear violation of their own policy. This officer per radio traffic knows the suspect has no warrants but they keep him "ARRESTED" in hand cuffs. If it were me I would own this department or more likely the tax payers for $$$$$$$

You should read the policy again. They CAN have unmarked police vehicles but they can NOT be used for petty traffic stops. They were looking for a person of interest and this buy sped away in his vehicle then fled on foot. It wasn't the person they were looking for but he was booked for fleeing.
