What a shame I’m not gonna be here I’d have had a beer with you or two I fly back on the 21st of November and then I returned back to Thailand on the 28th of December Have a wonderful time, but I have something for everybody

Prices are cheaper apparently, but factoring in travel and overnight stays I would rather just fly from Man TBH SI. Those two drinking would have done my head in pal. The one on the aisle seat wasn't happy at all. Why did that guy after you landed approach you and tell you to turn cam off?

They was ok lads just starting their holiday early but yes I was irritated and tired and it ruined first day in Thailand but I’ve another 5 weeks so all good , regarding the other lad I think he was on something 😊 but I’d only briefly met him in departure when he made conversation with me I’m here now so all good

Videoing in airport is sometimes frowned upon, if you listen when he goes thrugh customs green lane some official shouts no camera,.

i generally just choose the cheapest flight i can get either from Manchester 2 legs or Newcastle , KLM, Newcastle to Amsterdam or emirates , get me to Bangkok around 14 hours from departure, and the return leg about the same, train station in Manchester airport gets me home to Carlisle, Or can get family to drop off collect at Newcastle airport, have used most of the middle east airlines and they are all quite similar if any i think Emirates is maybe the better but i only travel economy, have used British airways Newcastle to Heathrow and then onto Bangkok, but it is usually a 20 to 24 hour trip door to door (Pattaya hotel) with travel time and airport time, super interested to see how Burma/Mayanmar goes its on my list of places i want to see, Thanks for sharing,
@AdventuresWithSiАй бұрын
Yeah, that sounds the best option for you mate. Living up north same as me . The only one mistake. I did Make was a flight to Beijing once it was 11 hours to china and then another six hours to Bangkok and a horrible journey. Thank you for your comment and I hope you like the content. I’m planning a trip to Myanmar 🇲🇲 in January going to take in Yangon bago , bagan and Mandalay

@@AdventuresWithSi Double check that you can enter mayanmar , conflicts are causing borders to be closed to foreigners , i went to mae sot to do border bounce twice, first time ok, 2nd time no entry, i had to drive all the way to nong khai about 6/7 hours,.

Hey brother, did that driver of yours meet you at BKK when you landed and took you to Jomtien? Best to always get in contact and pre book? It’s been good following your journey mate. You remind me a lot of myself. I’m ex military, kicked it with a few heavy’s in my time but now looking for a quieter time with the misses. Would appreciate asking you a couple of question please mate. Do you have an email?
@AdventuresWithSiАй бұрын
Yes AJ I usually pre book it maybe 100 baht dearer but it’s basically meet and greet and thank you for following my adventures My email adventureswithsi01@gmail.com

You should have got a national express coach from LHR when trains were on strike, costs around £20,. I prefer LHR and Thai airways to BKK, 21.30 pm departs LHR, flight gets in at 4.30 pm BKK,. As for airport food I usually just get a £3.50 meal deal from boots, then have 2 meals on the plane, Manchester airport looks manic compared to Heathrow, and as for emirates they are a good airline but not the most punctual, Thai airways is very good at time keeping, it takes me about 3 hours to get to Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham airports are only 1.5 hours away but I like direct flights,.I spent 9 hours once in Dubai waiting on an emirates connection, never again,.I love flying but I’m not a fan of all the hustle and bustle that goes with it,.With you being a regular flyer I would of thought you would pick your seat, like your 2 nd leg I always pick a window seat and sometimes luck out as you did and get 3 seats to myself, “right good Kip”, oops that went badly wrong, I suffered the same once, f’ing nightmare,.

For me living up north its a 3-4 hour journey to Heathrow or an hour to Manchester and I don’t mind the stop over but I appreciate some prefer the direct route Thank you for the input and comment mate
