I love how Pacquiao is not real flashy with his speed bag and jump rope skills. but he has super fast hands and great foot work.

To be exact his more focus on his toes... When he do the speed bag his not flat-footed , when he do heavy bag his not flat-footed, his always on his toe's

Manny is super light on the jump ropes, so effortless

I purchased both the medium kzbin.infoUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes.Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.

@yourztruly94909 жыл бұрын
NiTEvibe98 Sly Stallone hits it even faster than Manny, which makes it look damn easy. truth is it's hard.. Tried it once, took me like 30/40 times to get the hang of it. Still can't do it much to this day.

I think speed bags are good for shoulder conditioning and establishing rhythm. In the clip, Manny keeps on trying different punch combinations at varying speeds while maintaining the same rhythm on the speed bag, all of which is pretty impressive to me. I've tried hitting speed bags before and these guys make it look easy. It takes coordination and accuracy to pull off and consequently makes for great boxing training.

s there a difference in the size and ounces in the bags? I usually hit one for about 30+ times on each hand (as apart of my workout) and it's a fatter black Everlast one. Are the smaller ones quicker and more advanced?

@BenjaminTapia113 жыл бұрын
@Rajivvvvvvv it increases your speed yes, the snap part at the end of punches. but its main goal is to condition your shoulders, it burns the shoulders so that you learn to keep your hands up, punch through fatigue etc. it is also a shoulder endurance activity. the speed bag is a must if you wish to get faster hand speed. but remember in boxing, everything is a piece of the puzzle.

@secutorclaudius The prmary prpose of the speedbag is to develope handeye coordination and rythm.Being able to punch wyl not always on balance can be enhanced by working the speedbag while moving in dffernt drections.Hiting the speedbag wyl in sync w/ a timer,wil also help ur endurance and breathing.The size of the bag and the number of rounds you can routinely go,will help you determine how and when you might adjust your training, in and out the ring.Very much like the resultusing the jump rope
