I have been with a Vietnamese woman for the past three years and I have never been so happy in my life. I am 73 (she is 49) but she makes me feel that I am in my 20s again. I agree with you about the genuine feminity, and the natural beauty, of Southeast Asain women. It's so refreshing after having to deal with neurotic American women and the horrors that feminism has created, since probably the 1970s. The only real problem, as you mentioned, is language. Miscommunication can create misperceptions that result in difficulties when there are really no difficulties at all. My girlfriend can speak a little English and the more she learns, the fewer problems we have. I wish I could learn Vietnamese, but it's not possible right now. I know that not all Vietnamese women are as wonderful as my girlfriend, but I have met many of her friends and I would have to say that I am very impressed. Thank you for your videos.

@@koufax174 I live in Cyprus and when I moved to a new place in a small village here, she was working in the same village as a housemaid. There are many Vietnamese women working here so they can send money back to their families in Vietnam. It's a real shame, though, that here in Cyprus, which is an extremely racist country, these Vietnamese women are treated like slaves and exploited and often physically abused. Many of them work 7 days a week, have no time off, and are not allowed to even leave the house where they work. So, I don't really have any advice for you. I was just lucky.

I can confirm, in Thailand the people ,specially the elder sisters (remember that the elder daughter in Thai culture has to take care of everybody) , are totally subdued by their families. She might not want to exploit his farang (foreign) boyfriend , but her family will bombard her with requests , than the more you give, the more relatives (brothers,cousins, uncles, aunts, grannies, neighbours) will become leeches. Many many relationships farang-Thai were ruined by her parents and she can't disobey them. the old saying when you marry a Thai woman, you marry all her family is 200% true.

Well as filipina we raised to take care of the family even we have a work, we prioritized family over carrier, age is doesn't matter, we're caring remember most of Filipinas are nurses, care giver and nanny so we love to take care other people, what more to our own family .. taking care of an older husband is easy for us... Great content. Thank you for sharing what you did. I agree with your general remarks about SE Asian women. I refuse to date US women. I have had experiences in all 4 countries. I have found wonderful women in each. What helps me is I am very clear what I want. I see some foreigners make huge mistakes because they are vague in terms of what they want. I’m emotionally mature so I bring respect and genuine interest to get to know women. That sets the table for a different experience. I made my decision to never pay for love and that has been a very good decision. That means I don’t pay for SE Asian woman’s family issues, or their living expenses. I also don’t drink or go to bars. I attract a very different type of woman as well. I’ve avoided any big mishaps as a result. I’m a good listener and observer and that eliminates many problems. I’m not impulsive and that helps. I can also say NO! I like adventure with peace of mind. I don’t like chaos. Thailand and the Philippines can have a sense of desperation and that can influence dating. I’m very aware of that before I ever went there. I agree regarding Vietnamese women. In a way I prefer them because of their sense of purpose and taking responsibility. I know in any of these countries including Malaysia I can find a good loving pretty partner easily with the qualities to make a beautiful relationship because I am mature, insightful and not desperate. Hmm.. making comparisons based on ethnicity alone is not quite fair. Depending on what type of women you date, if you date someone from the streets or rural province, or poor background, with no college education, or professional career- vs someone who came from a good family, lives in the city, well traveled, has a professional career are of course very different - no matter which country they are from. Please do not generalize any woman based on your experience. For example, in the Philippines, we had 2 women Presidents. The first Harvard woman medical student is a Filipina. So some comments here saying- Filipinas are uneducated are coming from an uneducated view.

I would put it down to westernization and social media Firstly, thanks to globalization, which, in general, has bridged the gap between cultures.And this definitely contributes to the rapid westernization in Vietnam.The younger generations have adopted Western culture and are becoming much less traditional and reserved than the older ones. (I think this is an inevitable trend).Women in my parents generation are much more family- orientated, hard-working and follow the husbands. The younger generations still have these values but much less. (and this is an ongoing downtrend) Secondly, social media which is full of BS contents is making people shallow and more materialistic ( this is true in other countries too).

I am 70 years young Caucasian male and an Australian citizen still mostly living in this country but for the very same reasons that you mention have always been attracted to Oriental ladies. I married a Burmese having children with her, later had long term relationships with both a Vietnamese and now a Filipina. A little like you I worked in various SE Asian countries including VN and Cambodia. Note that despite living and working in Cambodia I never considered a relationship with Khmer lady and for good reason in that despite their often good looks that they are a sticky honey trap. It may not be restricted to this culture but getting into a serious relationship with one essentially means that you the “rich” foreigner soon becomes a walking ATM not only for her, her family but even her clan or village! I hasten to add that every woman is different within each country but as you also mentioned there are traits and similarities. Indeed the Vietnamese ladies tend to be the most industrious and money savvy also often gorgeous especially the mixed bloods. They also tend to be more polite and reserved and by contrast the Filipinas tend to be more emotionally demonstratively outgoing, warm, joyous but beware also extremely jealous and Latina style fiery. A Filipina’s anger is something to be feared and is called Tampo, the closest English equivalent word being tantrum but then on steroids! Having lived for 15 years with such a lady who is much younger I am well familiar with this phenomenon. Based on these said things and personal experiences which country’s ladies do I still prefer? There is no simple answer since it depends on what factors are being evaluated. VNese ladies have their obvious charms but I find their native speech grating on the ear and their cuisine wholesome but not outstanding. Burmese tend to have an easy going nature and not so demanding, Filipinas the warmest, caring and tactile. Based on cuisine alone the order would be Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean and VNese with Phillipines and Cambodian a long way back in the field. I hasten to add that I have no personal experience with South Korean, Chinese or Japanese ladies all of which I am certain would also need serious consideration 😊

I thought you were 28-35, shocked after you said 47! I agree with you. I also travelled to the southeast. I'm not from Europe, I'm from the middle east, but I could be easily spotted as a foreigner due to my height haha. Sadly never met a girl from Vietnam even, but I'm trying to find a job there now. I dated women in Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and had nice time with girls in Laos and Singapore. I met Indonesian and Filipino girls out of their countries. In my opinion, the Filipino are laid-back as you said, but I'm not looking for fun with girls like 1 week out and cut. I want to stay for years. What I perceived was that these girls are mostly easy, my Thai girlfriend left me after 1 month for no reason despite she was rich! Maybe she looked for fun with me since I was 15 years younger. I had nice dates with Cambodian girls, but never seemed serious. Malaysians are the middle, I think never get serious as you said like in Vietnam. Indonesians are a bit religious, so that you said in Vietnam the over 30 years old girls are easy to meet, for Indonesian it doesn't work coz the older generation are not open-minded and these new generations mostly want fun, just like the Filipinos. In Laos, I couldn't come close so much due to lack of time, but I believe it's very similar to Thailand with a difference that you can't communicate even coz poor English. Thank you for your insights and sharing your experiences. Indonesia - one day and hopefully soon, I will visit. Viet Nam - such a beautiful country, awesome food, a very kind people. Philippines - another nation on my list. My experience is I’ve met and known so many people from there that live and work in my country. Thailand - it’s where I have n been 5 times. I’ve hitched my wagon to Siam. And it’s where I’ve had two relationships. Even within the Kingdom I find differences in women depending on where their home roots are. As they say, “same, same but different.” I truly admire the south East Asian women. They are different from the women in the West. Not in anyway to disparage Western women. I think it applies to all southeast asian women. You can say that filipina women is into money well i think this is something debatable. If you really looking for a wife material woman you should know them better. Find a woman who came from good background like who have a a job and ofcourse a have a good educational background. What I feel like dating to Vietnamese girls are like they are loyal compared to Thai, Philippines or Indonesian girl or other. Thais girls are more like hiding something, Philippines girls are more like fun, and Indonesian girls are more like relax, Malaysian girls are more like friendly, Burmese girls are like smily, Chinese girls are like very open, Laos are like more hidden, Singaporean are like seeing you for whole family planning. Again, that's all my personal feeling. For the marriage, I would choose for Vietnamese girl for sure! I would suggest that you make your own experience. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Try Vietnam and see how it goes for you. Perhaps you will like it. But as a rule of thumb I would say, and this is also based on my own personal experience, that if you want fun then head for the Philippines and Thailand. Vietnamese girls are way more reserved and they are not playgirls.
