Hi Kae. Thanks for the video. I am in the Facebook group Black Women Who love Gardening and someone posted about the Myer Lemon trees. She said she adds black cow, mushroom compost, blood and bone meal, worm castings and 511 fish fertilizer. I know it’s aloe but her tree was covered in buds. Also sometimes the lemon trees don’t produce for 3-5 years❤

Thank you lady! You know I’m in that group as well let me go find what you’re talking about. The problem is she’s fruiting but the fruit is falling off. I’m wondering if it’s the temps or if I’m doing something else wrong. I’m committed though thank you for sharing this with me!

Lovely tour of your Spring garden! 🌸🌹 I'm in zone 7A, and I am seeing buds on my hydrangeas. I potted up some tulips , crocus & pansies for now! Cannot wait for perennials to bloom!

Thank you lady! I think I’m going to try some tulips next year in a pot. I’ve been hesitant because I need to do some research but they look soooooo good I’m sure yours are gorgeous!

Love your ideas ❤ Are you ..? Seems like you share the fence with your neighbors, not a lot of privacy.. Add fruit or shade trees with solar lights Great job🎉🎉

Thank you and yes we do share our fence which doesn’t lend itself to a lot of privacy but I’ve planted a fence line that should grow about 12-15 feet in a season that should help fingers crossed. And the lights are coming as well. The fig tree is nice and happy this year so looking forward to it as well. Thank you so much for watching!

Live in the south suburbs of Chicago and really want to attempt roses this year, any tips?
@GardenscapesbyKae9 ай бұрын
Yep I have a couple. So first thing first is you have to find a rose that can grow in your hardiness zone. Once you know which one you want to grow, then you want to find a nice sunny spot to put them in. Be sure to make sure your soil is nice and aerated. So if you’ve got clay soil amend it with some humus or compost, you want your soil to be nice and light so the roots can move around freely and they don’t stay wet for long. I use BioAdvance on my roses to help fight fungal disease, pests and rust. I have very alkaline soil and it’s loamy so I just add compost and we’re good. They love nutrient rich soil so feed them monthly except in the heat of summer and they should be good. I’d recommend getting 1 to start, get comfortable with taking care of it then go from there. I got two last year, learned on those and now I’m ready to rock and roll lol. I hope that helps.
