After _repeated heating_ from cooking each set of vegetables, isn't the olive oil going to taste bad to eventually transfer across the whole dish?

Goddamit, I didn’t season my olive oil enough, now it’s underseasoned. Exactly what Marco warned about...

I do not know if he reads this , but what i do wonder is how to make deer ( grinded , just as you buy cow or pig but slightly finer) a bit less spongy. The texture is wonderful but deer ( and elk) can be slightly compact. Probably due to a low fat content ..it is just very hq meat. Tested with different frying times, or fast fry in butter with some oil very hot and actually steamed it after in a pan..or almost undercooked and it gives somewhat similar results so even if one can question my skills..it seems that it is requiring either a lesser fine grinding or that you perhaps can break the bonding slightly. Was thinking on putting it on a pineapple just to make it softer but i also think that ruins the meat. Any trick for deer? ( forgot to say what, it is like a meatball recipie but flattened put as a bit smaller and thicker burgers , served with a fond and double cream, wild berries)

Why season in the oil instead of after you drain them? Is it so you pull extra moisture out while frying?

The thing that make aromat so good is the msg (which is harmless). I mention it because it’s low key hard to find msg in standard grocery stores

It's simple: don't take his whole recipe for grantend and don't use Knorr, just take from this tutorial what you need ... after all: cooking is not a recipe, it's a filosofy!

I was going to make this recipe tonight but I realized I had everything except courgette and aubergine. I did have zucchini and eggplant, but I wasn't sure if they'd be good substitutes. Oh well.

Just FYI, that aromat is mostly salt and "flavor enhancer", namely monosodium glutamate, better known as simply msg. Then it has some milk powder and onion powder and traces of spices like turmeric. Just use your own salt, and if you like it buy some msg yourself. Most grocery stores have it, otherwise any asian food store will for sure. Do note I'm not saying you shouldn't use aromat if you like the convenience of it, but don't think it is in any way special. As I said, simply mostly salt and msg.
