Him and the 13 other commanders couldn’t stand up to Akainu. Also, Luffy has Whitebeard level endurance. Marco is the Phoenix and can heal his injuries but for how long and how much of an injury can he handle before he can’t heal himself? One punch from Garp sent him sailing.

I have a dumb theory. I don't know if anyone has said it before but here goes. Big Mom is going to have her repressed memories triggered and she is going to be incapacitate for the rest of Wano. This will lead her to return to Elapf when she regains consciousness. Luffy and company will lose. They will sent for execution, however this time the people of Wano(lead by Hiori) will fight back. Everyone will team up and Kaido will not be out right defeated but, driven out of Wano realising he can not longer use the people as slave for his factories. A weaken Kaido will then be ambushed and defeat by Teach at sea and his devilfruit will be taken. The crew will stay at Wano for awhile after the battle recouping and helping fix problems with the country. Luffy will keep training, chopper is going to heal the people affected by smile and what not. This is when we might get more info on Zoro' s Wano connection. After all is well the crew will leave Wano with Carrot, Tama hand Momonosuke. There has been a theme of Momo not being his own man and living in his father's shadow. I don't think he should rule Wano yet. Hiori should stay back and rule. She is more aware countries condition after the 20 years, and she has the Kozuki name. Momo should go out find out what he really wants for his life. I don't know if anyone will read this bull but I felt like I needed to type it.

Yo kingu, anyone brought up big mom just doing a smash and grab of kaidos ponyglyph during the war before heading to Elbaf? Using the excuse of chasing luffy to get to wano, faking the alliance to enter deep into the territory and while everyone's distracted just focusing on the bigger picture and manipulating information to achieve her real goal of stealing the actual ponyglyph itself and leaving to elbalf which would give reason for straw hats to follow/chase the big mom crew to elbalf? Would add a lot of depth and hype to the big mom pirates, make them relevant to the plot without wasting them and explaining the need story wise to keep them out of wano during the war. Would really hype big mom's character up for me; setting aside pride and reputation in the short run to win the long game.
