Update: The easter egg HAS FINALLY BEEN FOUND! Congrats to Andrew Stenholm for spotting it. At long last, I can reveal what/where it is: At 0:36, in the back seat of the very first vehicle that passes, there is a single frame where you can see a man's light-colored beard, and a blurred visage of a brunette woman sitting next to him. With my clue that you're looking at a "royal procession coming from Buckingham Palace," and the man's beard appearing to match that of Prince Harry, you have grounds to form the educated guess that the passengers are none other than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It is indeed them in the vehicle. Now I have an admission to make: In my original footage, Harry and Meghan are quite clear; you can see them over multiple frames. But when KZbin compressed my video, it destroyed all but one of those frames. So the easter egg got significantly more obscured than I'd originally intended it to be, and I admit, it was probably too hard to find. However, with the right sleuthing, you could still deduce your way to it. Congrats to Andrew Stenholm, who gets a free video download from my store! To everyone else who participated in the challenge: thanks for your wild guesses. I had no idea I'd be getting comments about morse code, hidden timecodes and messages, Dr. Who references, Shrek references, history lessons, nodding pigeons, editing continuity errors, ADR mishaps, and all kinds of other stuff. I was beyond shocked at how closely people were scrutinizing the video. I promise if I do another easter egg challenge, the egg will be easier to find. Nevertheless, this was fun! Thanks for watching :)

Also 03.11. 2019 is the third of November 2019 in the UK (that's my birthday by the way). I have worked with many US and UK companies and now I always write a date with the month in letters 11 Mar 2019. But none of the above nonsense takes away anything from this superb video. Hey Marco, As usual, amazing video. Always look forward to these. You've inspired me to paint outdoors more often so I've fixed up my old French easel and packed it ready to go for my wife's and my next day trip. Question: Do you foresee any issues with me using acrylics instead of watercolor or gauche? As for my Easter egg guess... Is it the brief theme music that plays when you cut to a screenshot of space and "teleport" to London? It almost sounds like a segment of the music from Dark Knight.
@marcobucci
@marcobucci 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jon - I think acrylics outdoors should be totally fine. Just watch out they don't gum up or dry on your palette or unused brushes while you work. That'd be the only challenge I can think of with that medium. You'll have to use precious oversight to keep them wet, whereas with gouache or watercolor I can wash off the brush or add water to the paint whenever I want to reactivate them. There are some acrylics (acryla-gouache) that can be re-activated, which might be a nice middle ground. As for the easter egg ... nope :)
@jontaylor8447
@jontaylor8447 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks @@marcobucci ! I guess I could try gouache. I've just never had great success with watercolors and only recently transitioned to acrylics from oils and that has been more of a challenge than I expected. I really appreciate the tip! Thought I had that Easter egg though...
