You know…I was expecting many things when I clicked on this video. I wasn’t expecting to hear “the video game motif of Ex-Aid was allowed because Yo-Kai Watch was huge in Japan.” As someone who A) was and still is a big YW fan myself, and B) also discovered with Gotchard that there’s a YW and Kamen Rider pipeline, I had no clue that it and Ex-Aid shared such a connection.

Ex-Aid was such a phenomenal season. I was totally amazed when Emu said "Ex-Aid Gaming!" before turning into the titular Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Really put the Excite in the audience's heart

I hate to be "that guy" but to clarify, the EX in EX Aid means extreme as in extreme aid. This goes along with the riders theme of being a doctor. extreme aid is referring to how the rider responds to dangers similar when a medical team responds to a 911 call for a patient in need of dire medical attention, hence the name ex aid.

This was my first Japanese kamen rider show that I watched and I havent regretted it at all. This was a fun show with some of the best insert songs in all of Kamen rider. Im so glad they keep bringing back Dan Koruto in other show with Outsiders the most recent one.

19:35 Yeah, I always called that out. Taiga got fired for failing to save a patient. As if that hasn't happened to any doctor before. Also, the bugster virus and bugsters were something completely new and never seen before, so you can't just blame anyone for failing against a new kind of epidemic on the first try without further studying. So all and all, it's the hospital own damn fault they made an enemy out of an ally.

I had no idea what a common rider was until three months ago when your A history of Kamen rider video appeared in my suggested. Somehow I ended up watching all of build including it’s movies loving everything about it. Thank you for introducing me to Kamen Rider.

Going to say this, Ex-aid was my first actual introduction to the franchise and i loved all of it. The bright neon suits, the effects, the music, the story and villains, it just screams, "WE'RE HERE FOR FUN!" It is still one of my favorites to this day [not as much as OOOs but it still has a special place in my heart] and when i saw the other seasons, it awaken something in me, my burning joy that hasn't been lit since disney era power rangers. I'm currently and very much enjoying Gotchard, insanely excited to see what the story brings me in the future. And if you were wander what brought me to kamen rider, it was random clips of Amazons which were in japanese and i couldn't read it until i found one with a english title and that was during a itch for tokusatsu content which i didn't know what that was at the time.

I know older fans probably like care for the suit design of this series, but for me personally, it's so cool looking. This was my first ever Kamen Rider. I saw the opening on KZbin back in 2021, decided to watch it, loved it, and started looking into more KR series. And the opening was just fantastic too, as well as the rider jingles. I can't tell you how often I think of these particular jingles when I think of Kamen Rider.

The Christmas Special, much like every other special episode that Ex-Aid has, feels like the writer resented having to do them. They feel like they were written out of obligation with them being confined to a small section of the episode and tied into some of the darkest scenes in the series.

ex-aid is one of my favorite seasons of kamen rider. i love the motif the suits the characters the story its up there with Build and Zero-one as some of my personal all time favorite rider seasons

You know, one thing i like about the Neo Heisei era of Kamen Rider is the sheer amount of creativity pourred into the seasons. I mean just look at Ex-Aid. The idea of Kamen Rider seasons that combined video games & medical drama is wierd, but somehow the team behind it did a good job blending these two contrasting theme perfectly

This and Build are my favorites. One aspect you may disagree is that despite Emu being the main character and having a good arc. It feels at least to me that the rest of the cast is better and overshadows him. Build felt more balanced with everyone but here I liked almost everyone(there are exceptions) more than Emu.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid was the first rider I associated with! I loved the character's appearance in Kamen Rider X Super Sentai, and from that is where I got into the rider series. :) ❤

watching this as i finish up prep for christmas dinner. I got into the series through Gaim thanks to a friend of mine. Together, we've been going through a lot of Heisei and Showa era shows and Ex-Aid was the second one. It holds a special place in my heart for being a show that knew how to make me smile and laugh and absolutely tear at my heart when it wanted to. The movies were also very fun, but my single gripe is that the Pac-Man gashat was teased as a big deal down the line, but never ended up doing anything

My favorite Gashat is easily Dangerous Zombie, I'm happy I was lucky enough to find a secondhand buggle driver and dangerous zombie gashat at a convention.

Say what you want about how long it's been, the suits, whatever, but for me, getting through Ex-Aid was a satisfying one and suprisingly, I feel like it holds up after 7 years. The tone of this show is perfectly balanced, which makes it a fun watch. Characters are very compelling and well-rounded by the end. Suit designs are fitting for the show's aesthetics and... I actually love the bright colours. As more shows have come out, Ex-Aid's one of my to reccomendations.

i have alot of gemn stuff now, the gashat the action figure his ultimate form from the recent specials and his progrise key. i love the kamen rider version of waluigi. actually I love this whole cast- and my favorite is the bike.

Exaid was the ongoing series when i first even heard of kamen rider( i had watched dragon knight on cw but thought it was unrelated) and honestly i dont think if i had started with any other series i wouldnt have became such a fan

If anything, the SD to normal proportions transformation is a reference to the last two Metal Heroes show since that was the main thing of Kabutack and Robotack. Also, Ex-Aid still has the references to older Riders with Ichigo's not-Adidas stripes

My favourite suit in Ex-Aid has got to be Genm’s Dangerous Zombie suit. Just looks cool, apocalyptic, punk-ish type. Is it bad that I find the suit hot? And… Some where on google (or reddit), the relationship Dan Kuroto, Masamune, Poppy, Emu and Parado is one big family drama

I only recently got into rider. I started in 2021 with a friend i was watching gokaiger with, saying i should try Kamen Rider. Ex-aid was my first and will forever hold a spe3place in my heart only other rider that comes close it den-o but its what made me fall in love with kamen rider. history of kamen rider can be used to introduce ex-aid and bring in newer fans who might like ex-aid. don't include much detail just include enough to make people want to watch it. I watched the abridged and funny version of kamen rider ex-aid that it affected me to the point of only being able to identify the characters by their catchphrases

As someone who has finished ex-aid 2 weeks ago and have started build now but ex-aid has been my first season of kamen rider and I loved it enjoyed Lazer and emu and of course Dan kuroto just being hilarious but I'm moving forward through the series with build and gatchard wich is insane as someone who loved the non serious nature of ex-aid at the beginning and it evolving through the season which seasons should I check out that I will like the most like W or zero one (only seen the first episode of both of those)

Ex-Aid is my first Kamen Rider season ever that I fully watched, started it around last year. It's such a fun and great show and it actually made me invested in whole Kamen Rider franchise. Right now, Faiz is my favorite rider design and aesthetic wise, but I still appreciate Ex-Aid a lot, and the driver being my first driver I've ever owned.

Ex-Aid was my first rider seasson. Back then, I kept seeing pictures of Genm vs. Lazer on Instagram. And I thought you looked really good. Then I looked for Ex-Aid and watched the whole season in one go. At the time, two episodes of Zero-One had just been released. And so I had my first current rider season.
