No dubbed and lipped are not the same. Dubbed means when a singer sings live and after the show they rerecord or edit the vocals and then post it as the final clip

This musicality debate is never gonna end cause that’s still just an opinion 😭 I could find you a definition that doesn’t mention pitch since it’s not an objective metric of measurement. Plus if you have every aspect of musicality mentioned there except pitch it would still show a level of skill and musicality. It’s all pointless to argue about this lol. Enjoyed the reaction though since you can’t go wrong with a Mariah video ✨

The word is musicianship not musicality. Mariah Carey do not treat her adlibs, whistle, mellismas as vocalization, she treats them like phrases and thats why her musicianship is stellar, spectacular as a matter of fact things like these are what built Mariah as a successful tapented producer. Msicality is more in regads of melody

musciality would be singing a note off-pitch and being able to correct, rebound, and carry on, so yeah, musicality isn't having perfect pitch or being able to always hit the pitch

Musicality in general is a means to say that a singer is a good and creative in the musical aspect of singing and definitions differ. This is not necessarily a better or more correct definition, just a different one. In the context of the other video, the definition was focused on the creativity and how it fit the song and expressed the emotions the song intended without a lot of focus to the pitch. Plus, if we're being honest, there were plenty of moments in this video were the "idea"/musicality was considered good by the creator of the video considering it was part of the compilation but quite a few notes were off contradicting the definition of this video and better fitting the definition of the good vs bad riffs one so, who knows, food for though I guess 🤷🏻
