Mariah did a lot for her sister. She took care of her children by putting a roof over their heads, feed and clothed them. Gave them the best education. She sent her sister to a very good and expensive treatment facilities only to have Allison leave them. There's a point when you have to cut the strings.

Their mother Pat shut down her plans when she revealed Alison doesn't know much about Mariah because they grew up with different parents. Having said that, Mariah did support Alison's children. One of them is now a lawyer, and has gone on record to say without his aunt's help he would be nothing today.

@@rebeccaspratling2865 so true, I myself was a heroin addict for near enough ten years. The best way to help an addict is to cut them off and eventually they will hit rock bottom, maybe go to jail. Once u hit rock bottom the only way is up. But u have to want to get better and help urself. U want to have right all the wrongs u have done and make up for all the hurt u have caused ur family, and trust me it will be an enormous amount. If I’m honest I don’t i I i can ever make up for the hurt I caused my mum, even though she has forgiven me I feel like I can never make it up to her. Addicts have to want to help themselves, otherwise there’s no point in helping them. It’s a hard and rough road but recovery is so worth it. God bless everyone who is active in addiction.

Very unlikely. Allison has had many chances to get her life together including millions of pounds from Mariah. Allison constantly finds excuses for relapsing. For example, she says she has never prostituted herself but has been arrested multiple times for it, Mariah has stated it on albums, in her book etc, men have spoken out about using her 'services'. I feel that unfortunately Allison doesn't want to accept responsibility for issues she has and passes the buck.

I have a lot of family members that are addicted to in fact every last one of them, and my partner But I've had to distance myself, to protect myself, because all I've ever experienced in trying to help everyone is hurt, betrayal, to the point where I've lost my job, I even ended up homeless trying to help all of them And to me that's just stupid for me to do that, and now I'm building my life back And sometimes you have to understand the pain After you have been around it so long that it starts eating into your soul, it starts making you crazy, and you're not even doing what they're doing Sometimes it's hard for you to even look at them, after you've gone around them so many times and they've done the same thing to you over and over again It just hurts, and they teach in therapy that sometimes you just absolutely have to go no contact, and not let people take advantage of you anymore And sometimes it's just too painful to look at them, because they keep destroying themselves, and it's super depressing, it rips your heart out, makes it to where you can't work, you can't function sure go see them, do what you can, but if it keeps happening over and over again there has to be a cutoff point.

No, about the money because when you're involved with people who are highly addicted, and they have a toxic way of thinking, and they won't really commit to working on the wounds of their childhood All they do is take that money and buy drugs alcohol, and continue to live that destructive lifestyle I've been in these situations before, and it's literally like you're killing them, when you give them money It's best to never do that, you can pay for some meals, buy them some food, pay for rehab, and help out with things like that But even up to a point, even doing that much if they're just going to get right back out and basically spit in your face and go back and do the same thing again It's just like throwing money in the trash, and basically enabling them to know that you'll come to their rescue and feed them come put them back in rehab, they know they can go at least get high or drunk one more time go out and live self-destructively and at least somebody will feed me or if I get too bad off they'll put me up in rehab And they literally think that way I know the addictive mind, it's all in my family, and in my relationships in the past And it's just really sad. But yeah you're right about the money for sure.

I noticed back in August, 2020 she's in serious need of dental implants of now all of her teeth are missing and she needs food. I don't know if she's still living at this place so she would need to living in a proper and decent apartment, new clothes, and a case worker. I don't mean this as a harsh criticism or to attack her, I say all of this because feel it could help her and she really needs it.

I don't know if it's completely true that Mariah didn't try to help her, I know she helped the children tremendously one is a lawyer, sometimes addicts need tough love she has been this way for decades, either way this footage is very real in a neighborhood like ours, and very raw she was robbed and beaten severely that's terrible. Today many of us have had a family member or friend affected by drugs I'm sure the family came to certain decisions at some point.
