OH MY GOD! Mariah.. Megan... THANKYOU for bringing Zach in. My course launch sold 1 spot. They requested a refund one month later - which I honoured, as it was a weight off my shoulders. ;) But, I still felt like I should give up and not talk to anyone about what a 'failure' it had been.. Zach's openess about his own course launch 'failure' made me feel so much better. I also loved how he said that some people, new to your list, just aren't going to be cut out for what you're selling. This is another of my problems when refocusing my course - people just aren't at the right level. But as Zach said, I cannot change my company mission just to fit those few people. I can serve my tribe better by catering to those that ARE in the right place, at the right level, to really learn what I am teaching. Finally... (sorry, this has become an essay right?) Mariah.. About 45mins in you spoke about how you were planning to do a more 'live' launch with Your 1st 1K... I was one of those people who HATED the overproduced video series you did for LYSC. I adore how open and honest you are in a love setting, I really feel I can connect with you, and that I can achieve what you're selling.. But in the over produced videos? No way... Just wanted to share. Thanks again for such an awesome Podcast! Best, Eve

Just seeing this now...is it still relevant? Seems like challenges are still happening in 2022. Iam about to do my first challenge and this is super helpful, especially managing expectations. Don't expect it to be a homerun the first time.

So interesting...although I do have to admit I feel a bit overwhelmed! I'm planning on launching my first course this year and it seems there's so much to do! I keep reminding myself that this isn't my main income stream right now and that it's okay to take my time to do things right!
