What's interesting is that his ridiculous argument makes more sense in the reverse; i.e., that RUSSIA isn't a real country, per se, but belongs to Ukraine. I would love to see Zelensky tell Putin that, and demand that he step down and accede to the true government of the Kievan Rus.

@@MadafakinRio Isn't that more out of ignorance? Many Slavs would probably be classified as Russian. Some, who are more familiar, like having family or friends from a specific country, can probably tell different cultures apart. I guess it also doesn't help that Slavic countries don't get much representation through entertainment, and if there is some it's usually trough Russia. It was nice when Disney actually cast a Polish actor for the Hawkeye mini-series.

@@BabushkaBrigade Trump wasn't being used by Putin, he was working with Putin. In 2016, Team Trump made sure the Republican platform didn't have any reference to supporting Ukraine in their struggle against Russia: "Trump campaign guts GOP's anti-Russia stance on Ukraine." That headline is from 7/18/16. Two years later, on 7/18/18, Trump stood next to Putin and lied to side with Russia against the United States. Trump was sabotaging the relationships we have with our best allies--Russia's foes. His Secretary of Defense said as much when he resigned saying he believed in the need for America to have alliances aligned with our values to counter bad actors, citing Russia and China, who wanted free rein to impose their will. Before he became Trump's campaign manager, Manafort worked for the Russian puppet in charge of Ukraine that the country eventually ejected. An associate Manafort worked with--including in his time with Trump--was sanctioned in early 2021 for being a Russian agent. Rudy Giuliani's Ukrainian associate helping him try to smear Biden was sanctioned by the Treasury Dept in August 2020 for being an "active Russian agent."

He also lied about and encouraged the spread of a deadly disease thinking it best for his reelection. Comedians are truth-tellers, or aspire to be. They usually speak from a place of painful idealism. That's why Zelenskyy fits so well with his job. His job, like all comics, is not just to make you laugh, but to tell you the truth and make you laugh enough that you won't hate him for it.

Blessings to everyone in the world. I hope that all people can unite in peace one day. May the children and our children’s children inherit a world that is free of the destruction of life’s purity and inherent goodness. Smile at a stranger, hold that door, make a positive post. Small acts leave big waves. These waves can make the historical consequences of suffering and pain be more easy to bear and hopefully change the tide in a more positive favour. Much love fellow earthlings! 👽⚡️✌🏽

It's so sad to hear what the Ambassador said before 2014 the the Ukrainian people were looking for change, and - a better future for their children. In one other video, one Ukrainian said many people move to Poland for higher wages as it's a part of EU and that Ukraine also wants to be a part of EU. But so so sad, Ukraine had a very dangerous neighbor.

Per Sean Penn's advice, I watched the documentary about the 2014 uprising in Ukraine called WINTER ON FIRE on Netflix. It was incredibly humbling and beautiful and moving. Their intelligence, creativity, resolve was amazing and it is a foreshadowing of how they would behave when Putin invaded them 15 days ago. PLEASE WATCH IT!

Do not push the bracelet fad. If you want to actually do something donate the equivalent cost to humanitarian aid. World does not need millions of worthless bracelets just so people can "appear" involved only to be discarded later. Hell South Park even did an episode on it. That should be enough reason to give you pause.
@katiekrawczyk3804

@@ShainAndrews absolutely agree that a bracelet will not make a difference- but it can influence people to donate - having a token of purchase or donation is a great way to motivate people - all charities do it - anyway I liked the idea of wearing my hate so I made some - and i am making a bunch for whoever donates to berlintoborders they are in need of funding and making real change happen for a lot of migrants
