Something about mexican spanish: "papi or "papito" is a word of endearment used often in children... but it changes in the context of a workplace, where someone is demanding something from you, some leaders, bosses or even more experienced co-workers might ask you something, if they see you have little experience, they might call you "papi" in a demeaning tone, and they will keep doing it if they see you're not immediately good at what they asked, meaning you're as dumb or useful as a kid. I really like this as a full-game hack. The map worlds are mostly well thought-out. I really like the World 1 layout. It brings back that feeling of playing Mario 3 for the first time as a kid, taking in every detail and looking for different ways to run the map. The number of levels that were changed, and the thought put into each new level compared to the original is great. I think if the hacker went back, or another level maker collab'd to modify the rest of the basic levels, this would be a ROM hack worth speedrunning.

Maybe it was meant to be for beginners to kaizo or other challenging romhacks who know the base game well. The difficulty escalation seems to do a decent job of teaching skills that are used in challenge hacks. It would be interesting to see a casual(ish) player who was very familiar with the base game but who hadn't done kaizo before tackle it. damn that ptooie had your number

Really cool sprite glitches and level alterations. There should have been waterfalls on some ship boss screens, but seeing the wand fall into oblivion was priceless. The triple sun attack was entertaining. Great timing notice about the absence of kaizo blocks, and so much for hammer powerup strategy. Truly insane unexpected saves and deaths, sometimes cheap but entertaining. Thanks for your dedicated game play and sense of humour 😄

The difficulty curve spike in World 2 (shell jump) and 8, oof. Also all the tricks he pulled off either by accident or on purpose in the playthrough of this hack makes Mitch the most legendary player SMB3 player imo.
