Delivery driver here, due to the pandemic companies have been having delivery drivers hand over food without asking for a signature if a credit card is used. However if they didn't tip, usually we still have them sign in hope of a tip. So yeah, delivery driver seems super suspicious.

Okay, my first job was a server at a restaurant. Throughout the shift, we had to keep the receipts from all of the customers after we closed out their orders and had to staple them to a slip. At the end of the night when we did our checkout, we had to go into the manager's office and let them look at the slips and look at the super long checkout receipt that shows our turn time (how long it took us to put in the order and then completely close it out), and what our tips were that night, and how much of that we owed the store, or if the store owed us. There was a specific drawer that the managers had in the office to keep these receipts from our shifts. It amazes me that people would steal tips from customers. Now I'm 18 and work in retail, and it's honestly the best job I've had, even though I occasionally get screamed at by a Karen or harassed by a creepy old man (about a week ago I got cussed out by a Karen and harassed by a creepy old man on the same day), but it's still the best job I've had, and I've had it for almost six months, which is so bizarre as it doesn't feel like it's been that long

The turtle abuse case: I'm surprised the officials wouldn't take it seriously. Higher LE know very well that animal abuse is a precursor to human abuse and murder and needs to be taken seriously whether it's domestic or wild animals in question. It really doesn't matter for the psychopath doing it. Maybe the local LE are aware of some city official's or mayor's kid who is showing signs of psychopathy and are protecting him. That's typical in rural areas.

The Workers Compensation Board in the province I live ruled that an employee’s death (heart attack) was directly caused by bullying at work. Stress is a terrible thing. At the very least, get a lawyer and show the owner of the business and police the video. Sarah needs to be fired at the very least and the owners need to be held accountable. They are responsible for allowing a toxic workplace.

When I was in middle school, my neighbors neighbor had an akita and even though they had an electric fence and collar, the dog kept ending up near the chickens of my friends. And one time my friend and I walked the dog back. The idiot owners turned the fence on when the dog was standing on it and he immediately was angry and I was still right in front of him and attacked me. I was terrified because I never had anything like that happen. I staggered back to my house and my mom noticed that where the dog got me in the shoulder, if it had gone for my shorter friend right next to me, it would have been her throat. I was left afraid of all big dogs for years, even ones I previously met and knew

If your health insurance company pays, it will then most likely subrogate against the homeowners' insurance company for reimbursement. An example - I was in a three car collision (I was in the middle), the car in front stopped, I stopped but the car behind did not. The insurance company of the at-fault driver was dragging their heels, so my insurance company paid for the extensive repairs and rental car - it took over a month. They then sought reimbursement from the responsible party's insurance company. I was not out-of-pocket for anything during the repair process. Edited to add: I didn't have to do anything but wait for the call to pick up my car.

Cats dont always ignore plants that are not attractants. Heck i have a cat that doesn't react to catnip at all. And yet i had to stop trying to keep poinsettias outside because some of the neighborhood cats liked to dash through and dig at them, and they would eventually die from the damage. I don't think that they ate any of it but they still payed extra attention to it.

Yikes. Poinsettias are actually poisonous to cats, but fortunately most cats have the good sense not to eat them. I had a cat once who try to an occasional nibble at each new silk flowers arrangement (ok, so I have a black thumb). I would just turn the little bite mark to the wall every time.

@@aliquot8404 yeah, that's why i stopped having them outside when i noticed that the outdoor cats liked to have their spazz attacks around them. I never noticed any bite dmg so i don't think that any got poisoned, but i was well aware. I do my research because I have indoor cats, which is why i kept poinsettias outside initially. Now when i do have one it is kept in a part of the house my cats are not allowed in.

Private Road: If you live on a private road with no town or county maintenance, you need to check your deed for a road maintenance agreement. Not a lawyer, but my answer to the hypothetical question about the $300 would be "my husband did that without talking to me first because he felt it would help ease the expenses seeing as this is a communal road that we are all going to use. I, however, did not give him any money what so ever and was not happy with my husband for do that without first discussing it with me." OP isn't responsible for what their husband does with their own money. He chose to give that money, OP didn't give anything. Also it would be VERY hard for me to keep from insulting both the husband and the neighbor.

In my state unless the dogs bit three people it won't be put down but it will be taken from her for keeping a violent dog retrained and give them to somebody else they don't even Jack around with you in Indiana about it your dog bites of package delivery person or a mailman or anybody else they quarantine your dog for up to a week or more to make sure it doesn't have anything then they write a report her ass gets charged for having a violent dog same as being charged for having a gun and safe and for attacking you she loses possession of the dog and it goes to somebody else with a warning that if it bites anybody else with a warning that if it bites anybody else they're going to

That includes not only insuring staff abide by company rules and standards, but federal, state, and local laws as well. If the police get involved it is quite likely you would be required to assist them in wading through paperwork, cctv, etc for evidence as well. Corporate is likely to do the same. smh If a person can't or won't do the job, they shouldn't take the job in the first place.

Just an FYI for you that think credit cards handle theft a little bit better than debit cards nope they're exactly the same I have a Visa debit card tied to my bank and believe me they go after it just like a credit card company would because it's a Visa debit card they won't even Jack with them I've had three different people try and illegally take money for my card then cancel the card immediately notified me immediately there was somebody trying to make a fraudulent charge on it and put their ass in jail a debit card will protect you just to say you just need to get one that's back by somebody other than just a local bank or credit Union

@@NationandState in all honesty, I wasn’t, I was just being bluntly honest. My friend and I thought of a social experiment where we compare comments and responses from KZbin and Reddit. The idea is that the medium, video vs literature, affects how we think as a group and as an individual. The experiment died when neither of us got much of any responses, expect the trolls on reddit. Now that some of the comments have FINALLY started getting any sort of attention, we can start the experiment back up. I didn’t label it as an experiment because I didn’t want to attract trolls or feed the people the idea that they have to fabricate an answer that would fit into an experimental setting. Great care needs to go into your own attitudes about what it means to be married and finding someone who either completely fits your standards or whom you can overlook his/her faults no matter what they are (within reason....I'm not talking about extremes like abuse, cheating, being a criminal, etc) because you value your promise you made to your spouse and your relationship more than petty (or even some major) annoyances and differences. No relationship is perfect and by choosing to leave your spouse for petty reasons (OP had good reasons) to be with someone else, you're basically giving up on the problems that you currently know of just to make a union with someone who has problems that you haven't discovered yet. Christianity is filled with people of all walks of life. We all have our problems to work through and use the Bible to help guide us. Each person has to deal with them in his or her own way and we're supposed to help and support each other in doing so. I could explain more but I don't have the time for now. Have a great day.

The first story has a lot of bs in it. For one thing, he called cps and only the police investigated (maybe, because he wasn't there to see anyone else), then it took over four hours for them to update/respond. These are not normal responses. Perhaps they had seen it as strictly a domestic dispute sonit wasn't prioritised, but thats still kinda mesed up. Second is he needs to get himself declared the legal father if he wants to be any part of this kids life. He sounds young like not even 18 yet, which is a mess all in its self for custody. Third will be if he doesn't get the ball rolling faster and more aggressively, he could be stuck with child support retroactively, which could keep him from getting a job, loans, drivers license, even result in jail time and additional court costs. The texts being old not being meaningful says to me that the police don't give a crap and just want to wash their hands of the matter. Texts are documented proof of evidence (note not proof it self) and admissible in court. A coworker of mine got full custody in a similar situation that didn't involve texts because she admitted to saying she would hurt the baby out of frustration just to get my coworkers attention. The cops really dropped the ball here and flat out don't care, but I'm guessing they'll act all sorts of surprised if something terrible does happen.

nunya bisnass it’s crazy that back child support can result in You being denied a job and a drivers license! They’ll even suspend your license and eventually put You in jail but how dafuq do they expect You to pay child support when you don’t have a way to work now or can’t even find a job because of it??! Also they expect your family or friends to pay it in order to be able to get out of jail! If You don’t have anyone willing to pay then you’re screwed and so is the child! Idk what the solution is but the way they do it now isn’t the answer!!

I get that those relatives adopted the child but there are certain things that matter. Was OP drinking or on drugs when she was pregnant? Did she know the child was going to be disabled or was there a possibility she thought so? Is that why she didn’t want the child and gave the child up? Personally I feel so bad for kids that find out their parents gave them away but then stay together, get married and then have more children!

The problem with dogs is they are genetically predatory, so they will irresistibly hunt anything that runs. Inevitably this natural behavior occasionally results in bites. Thus dogs must ALWAYS be leashed when outside!!

The problem seems to be with the cops. I don't know why op didn't say anything about a cps worker responding, but the welfare check sounds like cps wasn't involved, as it was the sheriff that he only mentioned speaking with. Second is he needs to be listed as the legal father if he wants to have anything to fight with, otherwise at some arbitrary point down the road the mother can declare him as the father and he might be hit with retroactive penalties of child support. Some states require that to qualify for state assistance with childcare, a father must be named, so this is a ticking time bomb he needs to get out in front of fast, and i don't know why the advice didn't mention a lot of what could go wrong and what he actually needs to do. It sounds like the commenters were shooting from the hip and only have a vague idea themselves.
