@@sir_humpy lol. Well it isn't Sweden yet but if my own nation wants to destroy itself I have no problems killing my own countrymen for being traitors, we've done it before for correct or incorrect reasons 102 years ago. Where are you from btw? When it comes to Lebanese people I have absolutely no idea how many if any of them are here. Even if there were many I don't even know what that means since middle-easterners typically aren't people that identify with nationality but rather tribe, unless you're talking about maybe Israelis, maybe Kurds, Lebanese people and perhaps Iranians. Turks are such an artificial nation that I don't really know what to say about them since some of them are European, some Middle-eastern and some some actually of some sort of Turkic descent.

@@noamrotstain3182 Palestine was the historic name for the land long before the Zionist occupation. The flag used is derived from the flag of the Kingdom of Hejaz which is also the flag of the Arab revolt. It is an honor to see how the Arabs are interested in Lebanon and still regard Lebanon and the lebanese people as a close friend and that despite political conflicts with most of the arab countries due to irresponsible people who are in power here for a couple of years. Lebanon is facing hard times these days and such kind of videos can be seen as support from our arab brothers that we are desperately need. Lebanon is so beautiful! I’ve been there 5 times. My grandpa owns an apartment in a city called Bhamdoun, about 27.4 km southeast (38-40 minutes) from Beirut. Bhamdoun is better than Beirut, ‘cause the weather in Bhamdoun is beautiful, it’s not even hot, it’s actually very gorgeous in the summer but in the winter, of course it gets very very cold with snow. Also, it’s a mountainous area ‘cause it’s surrounded by mountains (kind of like Colorado). Beirut, on the other hand, is very hot (though not as hot as Kuwait) and it’s right by the beach. God bless Lebanon! 🇱🇧🇰🇼❤️

It's interesting how the Phoenician word for white is Laban. In Hebrew, we say "לבן" or "Lavan". I guess all Canaanites are cousins after all. 😉 Much love to Lubnan! 🇱🇧

Good episode Mark. I would rather include literary figures like Amin Maalouf and fashion designers like Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad. In the episode about Egypt I suggest that you include the following information. 1- Umm Kulthum, nicknamed Kawkab al-Sharq (The Star of the Orient). 2- Alexandria was a Greek city that produced renowned mathematicians and in the modern era it's the birthplace of many great actors, poets, and musicians including Omar Sharif, Constantine Cavafy, and Georges Moustaki. 3- Cairo is the birthplace of francophone writers like Gilbert Sinoué, Robert Solé, Andrée Chedid and Albert Cossery. 4- French singer Claude François was born in Ismailia, Egypt. 5- The laureate of the 1999 Nobel Prize in Physics is the Egyptian Ahmed Zewail. 6- Egypt has great scientists in cryptography like Taher Elgamal who is recognized as the "father of SSL" and in spectroscopy like Mostafa El-Sayed known for El-Sayed rule. 7- The father of the international criminal law is Cherif Bassiouni. 8- Egypt has dominated the game of squash. 9- It has attracted thousands of people from Lebanon in the 19th and the early 20th centuries. 10- Alexandria was a cosmopolitan city with Egyptians, Greeks, Italians, Poles, Jews, Lebanese, etc.

You forgot Hassan Kamel Al-Sabbah, There're hundreds of innovations linked to him, he died in a car accident in the USA but his body was not injured (which is very weird in my opinion), he registered 26 innovations individually and 9 with partners. and you forgot Rammal Hassan Rammal, condensed matter physicist. He was born in Doueir. He was the top student in his class. He graduated high school and ranked first place in the official exams of the baccalaureate Section II (general science) in Lebanon. He won The Rammal Award for scientists from Mediterranean countries was created in his honor by the EuroScience organization and has been awarded annually since 1993. Rammal Rammal high school was built in his hometown Doueir for his honor. The science and research States magazine awarded him in 1984, the smallest researcher in the world of his generation. the French government awarded him a silver medal for Scientific Research. the French magazine Le Point named him among the top twenty French characters who will play an important role in changing France in the 2000s. the National Center for Scientific Research awarded him a bronze medal in 1984, in recognition of the best doctoral thesis in France.
