Well i m sorry to pop your bubble but tunisia is only relatively progressive,especially if compared to its arab neighbors,,but generally talking it s still mostly backwards with the situation getting more and more bleak as of late,,ppl are being arrested and treated like criminals for their sexuality police brutality is still a thing,,a few weeks ago a girl was being trialed for paraphrasing the coran..among other atrocities..freedom can t be partial,,it s not a plastic facade that we maintain,,but rather true and genuine growth in consciousness and mentality...still I agree with your statement to an extent,,along with lebanon tunisia is definitely a beacon of liberty

@Amazigh AFRICA why don't you let people choose their identity as a basic human right. Many North Africans do identify as being Arab, while others identify as Amazigh. Others may identify as both. What's the problem in any of it, and why try to force anything on anyone?
@kfa835
@kfa835 3 жыл бұрын
@@littlemonstertv1635 I didn't imply that Tunisia is the model of freedom and liberty throughout the world, that would be absolutely absurd, if not insane. Countries usually compare to other countries of similar geopolitical factors amongst other things. Of course the other Arab countries will compare themselves to Tunisia, as opposed to say Denmark.

I'm *Maltese* and *we* always see *Tunisia* as *our* "big (Arab) brother" because *our* two countries are constantly merging together. *We* in Malta speak a dialect of *Arabic* called "Malt" which is a dialect of Tunisian language but with Italian pollution due to us being near to Sicily.

Salamou 'aleykom There is also Lotfi Bouchnak who is one of the famous Tunisian singers. He is considered one of the best tenors in the Arab World. He won the Best Arab Singer Award in Washington DC, in 1997. For the food there is the famous Assida zgougou which is a Tunisian dessert often prepared to celebrate the Mouled (birth of the Prophet Muhammad). There is also the makrouna bel salsa (pasta with spicy sauce). You have to know that Tunisians are the second largest consumers of pasta in the world 😂 And also the Tunisian tajine, a sort of quiche without a pie crust, which is not the same as the Moroccan tajine and the Algerian tajine Greetings form Tozeur😊

Tunisia is one of the most beautiful countries in North Africa and the Arab World. The most interesting fact is Ibn Khaldoun and the Al-Muqadammah part. I’ve studied about him back in history class a few years ago in university. Also, my favorite part is the delicious Tunisian donut called Bambalouni. I’ve never tried that before ‘cause I never been to Tunisia, but it’s so delicious. I wanna try it when I visit Tunisia in the future inshallah. I love Tunisia, it’s one of my favorite places in the world. May Allah bless Tunisia from your Kuwaiti friends! 🇰🇼❤️🇹🇳

Another amazing video! I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit Tunisia in January 2020 just before the COVID crisis. Tunisia is such a great country with interesting history and natural beauty; I love Sidi bou Said area, it's so fascinating and underrated. Tunisian people are interesting and educated and they have a lovely dialect! They are also obsessed with "Harisa" hot paste, which they literally add it on everything there, not complaining about that as it's really delicious. In my opinion, Tunisia is the only country in the Arab world where I can see some hope for a bright future.

Plenty more stuff to mention, it's hard to mention it all in one video, but also Tabarka region in the north, which has a touch of European feeling to it, is worth mentioning, as well as the island of Djerba in southern Tunisia, and for food please don't miss out on Tunisian moloukhiya if you're there (it's delicious), as well and Kafteji and Ojja if you like spicy food. حصيلو نحبك يا تونس الخضراء! تحيات من صربيا ❤️🇹🇳🇷🇸
