MARK, many people have already said this but you missed a few key items you will want to get before going after Lucas. 1. Go back to the room in the main house with the taxidermy deer. There is a door you open using the crow key that has the grenade launcher in it! Check your map if you dont remember where it is. The map should show the door with a little crow on it. 2. In that same room there is a secret in the fireplace that will help keep you alive! 3. Under the deck in the yard behind some bushes there is a crawlspace with a repair kit in it. Take the broken shotgun from inside the house and fix it. Its a more powerful shotgun than the one you are using! Place the model shotgun in its place to avoid getting locked in the room!

I dunno if Mark's gonna see this... or if anyone has given this tip but I'm gonna type it anyway. Mark, I think you're starting to notice the deputy's Glock's effectiveness is dwindling. You'll need a stronger handgun. You could repair that handgun by now, like seriously. When you exit the trailer, go straight in the direction of that main house (where you could enter to the Scorpion-Snake Doors area). Scour the foundation of the building. Just sweep it along from the stairs. You'll see a loose metal gate just beneath the building. Open it. There's a box there. Destroy it and you'll have a Repair Kit to repair weapons. Now, there is indeed a second repair kit you'll encounter soon. But if you are getting this repair kit I mentioned above... you'll need to decide to repair either the handgun (in your item box) or the shotgun (at the main hall, you know the place where you got your current shotgun from). You could place the shotgun you're holding back to the statue and get the broken shotgun, and then repair the latter. But why give up on your first shotgun? Because... remember the model shotgun you found in Lucas's attic? Yeap.
