Great video today, and as far as using the closed loop system my Anzani Longster has been flying for over 10 years using ordinary 10Lbs fishing line with no problems. Thanks Mark.

Hi Mark. Just started one of the Ripmax Keil Kraft Ace. Checked the plans and they seem fine in this kit The woods not bad either apart from a few pieces of strip that seemed a bit too heavy

Just a small point - the rudder action (as described) will be "Pull-pull" as both wires are in tension. "Push-Pull" would be where something like a 'Bowden' or Snake cable is used....Otherwise, nice conversion.

Arh, did I say push pull, apologies, you are correct it is most certainly pull/pull. Thanks for the comment, pleased you liked the conversion 😀

Great video, but then again, what else is new? I am quite fond of even smaller servos, 2 grams, as those require even less power, and in a push-pull situation, I'd wager they develop enough torque for a craft of this size/weight/speed. I am a bit scared about the weight, as you dutifully used some of that heavy balsa 😬

Great video I might have missed it, are you using a folding prop?
@MarkRobinson555

@@MarkCroucherRC4fun First off I am using the 12" prop that came with the kit, but will add a 17" balsa one once I have it flying, be interesting to see the difference. Pleased you enjoyed the video, thank yo, appreciate the comment 😀

Will the tail plane be stable on the fuselage during flight or wobble about?
@MarkRobinson555
@MarkRobinson555 4 ай бұрын
That is a good question, I hope not, as the plane is a fairly gentle flier, but I have wondered about this myself. If it does wobble I will just insert some short cross spans on the tail seat to provide a slightly larger platform for the tail.

@@MarkRobinson555I found a small balsa block sitting in a seat help stabilise the tail area on my FF models when using a DT.

@@MarkCroucherRC4fun It may well need something, but didn't want to add the weight unnecessary 😜
