It has a simple reason mate, because the elaboration is probably the most important point in the mayority of the gastronomies, but here the quality of the product is the key, and this quality products can only be found in Spain
@rujeri2 жыл бұрын
@@omroru3089 The thing is here you find good products + best elaboration. That's my point. In Basque Country e.g. you have literally one of the best gastronomies in terms of elaborations.
@rujeri2 жыл бұрын
@@omroru3089 It's just a matter of marketing. E.g. Italian food bc of italians-americans, has reached the whole US with cheap and easy-to-do products (pizza and pasta) + promoted Italy image as the main mediterranean cuisine through movies etc. during decades. Spain didn't have such a marketing and international presence. It's now that people starts to now about it bc of top chef awards and tourism. It's just 'country brand' is so unfair. E.g. Most of olive oil in the world is spanish, main and top producer. However italian brands have the power in the market, so they absorb spanish companies, and sell spanish oil as italian. Let alone the wine...

Yes agreed Alex that exactly why I love eating in Spain😋😂 you can go too the coastal regions and have the best seafood in the world, or go inland where most of the Spanish live in red meat and quite simply eat some of the best red meats in the world. No sauces or cheeses required the quality of the meat is that high you don’t need anything to smother the taste.

@@gracedegraaf2454 personally I think Spain has better food than France. In France eating is very formal and almost text book where as the Spanish has a much less formal view of their food, it’s more rustic. Where as in France every dish has too be cooked the way it has been done without the foresight to try new things and dishes.

From what I saw that meat is a reverse sear. Best steak ever. Get the internal temp right and sear in a pan or on a grill for mouth watering delight. 24:56 LEGEND

This is the kind of video that proves that you can treat animals with respect despite of the fact that they're being butchered. I also love the stillness of the environment and the simplicity of the ingredients used. If someone had the luck to raise their own cattle, chicken or the like and grow their veggies and fruit on spot, you know how much flavor those items have. Beautiful video!

I’m not saying it’s the best steak in the world, I’m just saying when I lived there, I learn minimal pepper and salt is the only seasoning you need and the portion to the cost is fantastic. And If given the choice of what kind of steak I want for my last meal, I would choose Spanish beef. And WOW, Iberia Jamón is the best and I would love to sample that beef Jamón. Im sure it will also be the best too.
