Love the way you described the females. They hold grudges. My female goffin puts me in time out if I do something she doesn’t like. She will run away from me and after about 15 minutes when I’ve learned my lesson she will hop or fly back to my chest and want cuddles.

What type of bird is that??
@karenmullen74319 күн бұрын
@@DebbieOguin-t2git is a resident parrot of West Africa, it travels around for the fruit it likes, and is considered as a pest to Farmers because it eats maize and some other crop I can't remember. Hmm, likely any fruit farm crop, I'm sure. ❤ God bless them, they're just trying to live ❤. Senegal, it's home, remains the most peaceful and stable state in Africa since 1960.

Everybody in that zoo looks healthy and well fed. Clearly loved. I'm never critical of homes, any home, that radiates it. Well done. John~

Animals don't hold grudges, or get made because you were away for a while. We should not anthropomorphize animal behavior. Rather attribute behavior to real reactions to a behavior so we can more appropriately address it or alleviate it. Some animals may feel disoriented when you suddenly or abruptly appear, or become startled as in this situation. It may take a few minutes for them to awake and adjust to the new situation. Misappropriating behaviors often leads to animals being misunderstood and even being surrendered. Animals deserve our well educated understanding about their actions and feelings.

It's funny... You have a bird destiny the way I have a reptile destiny. All the reptiles I have now are rescues or surrenders. It even happened with my favorite local pet store. I walked in one day and they plopped a baby savannah monitor in my arms and said here's all the stuff... take it. 😮 I guess the owner got it at an exchange without knowing anything about them... such as how huge they get and then panicked and dropped it at the pet store. Similar things have happened with all the others which either came from owners that couldn't keep them or family members who inherited them but didn't really want them. I REALLY love birds too but the universe just keeps sending me reptiles. 😂 Luckily some of the reptiles are able to live in my science classroom lab. I think the universe knows I'm not home enough for birds. My snakes really don't care if I'm gone for a week as long as they are taken care of. My bearded dragon is more bonded to me though. Their intelligence is equal to some birds. He is good with my students but once he's tired of them he runs and jumps on me like... Ok mom. I'm done now. Save me. 😂

A new dimension of a crazy bird woman. Why so many parroys inside a house/room? Dogs, cats, birds…do you have time to take care of all of the animals? The dogs barely got any attention compared to those birds whoch is kind of weird. If you have been away for a month obviously you dont have time to take care of all of the animals...
@kristi87998 күн бұрын
There is one of you and every bunch isn't there why would you sit and watch the video if it was so bothersome to you? Your issues sound a little more like jealousy versus concern because there is nothing about this woman that says she would for one second be someone to neglect her animals and if you can't see that fix your Rose Colored Glasses
