Hello and thank you for the video! Few things, 1) this was the straw that broke the camel's back, I needed this push to finally watch this show; we powered through and got it done, whoo! 2) were your earrings in tribute to the show, haha? 3) I've been meaning to say... of COURSE I watch to the end, how else could I hear the awesome second line of the song! The fighting to be right section reminded me of when I saw Michelle Obama on her Becoming tour. She said when she and Present Obama first went to marriage counseling, she expected to be told that she was completely right and her husband needed to change. She was very candid with how shocked she was when the therapist suggested that she might need to work on some things too.

Hi Steph, I finally finished “You.” I agree that the therapist became aggressive with assumptions, not knowing, these two were lying all along. I think the therapist’s lines were written this way purposely to show she was not able to figure them out.

When you mentioned the link between "I know what's best for you" and disrespect. I paused for like 10 minutes lol. How many PARENTS (even when they refer to things other than safety), teachers, bosses do that stuff! Like you said, it takes away a persons agency in their own life, especially if those words are backed up by actions like parents getting mad when you don't take their little pieces of advice. Wow. That hit hard... So yeah, I'd be interested in a video about the relationship between Love and her mom (I was so pissed when she asked her mom for help in a bind, but then also the convo her mom had with Joe!!! So complex!) ALSO! The way you so clearly and concisely explained disorganized attachment was *chef's kiss*. It gave me another ah ha moment! Awesome videos. Look forward to whichever spinoffs happen from this one :)

Hi Anya! I love your enthusiasm and passion. It's people like you who make the work so safe and positive for the clients who need it. I watched your video on burnout/ compassion fatigue, and I wanted to ask if you knew anyone who took it as a sign they don't even want to be a therapist anymore. I see my own therapist soon, but I can't tell if I'm burned out, feeling a "gut feeling", or both. I’m scared to disappoint the people in my life if it is a "gut feeling" that I should quit, and I'm also scared of regrets or the future in general. Thank you for being a part of the profession!

I love your videos where you analyze couples/relationships/people in the media! If you are interested, the musical "The Last Five Years" is the story of a couple coming together, and then their marriage falling apart. The movie version stars Jeremy Jordan and Anna Kendrick!

It was interesting to see your take on a potential diagnosis, and I’d love to hear what else you have to say about that! I was thinking perhaps BPD? Steph, I'm embracing so much of your show. I really appreciate, well Franky, cost free scenarios and professional counseling. Thank you for that. I truly believe we can, or rather I can't get enough as far as my personal growth. This episode, your open response took me by surprise, although I can thoroughly understand. Professionals are not successful in my mind if they deny humans their right to make their own life's and decisions. I just want to share my view of polygamy. Firstly you are so smart! Thank you for sharing your abundant short and long term retention is stellar. Meaning, as I listened to you, your thoughts and Informatica were well organized and said with ease. The subject, which with your spiritual background (I think based on your teachings of one of my favorite books, "Five Languages of Love", however I need to say at this point I am be presumptuous after all I just started watching you today. So, I really need to share how I feel about swaping several, mire than one wife is and always has been one of the most self-centered ir as I prefer to say, the epitome of selfLessLy. When the Mormons (my brother is a Mormon, he thought he give that a shot, well his wife is a nurse and father in law is a doctor, they filled him full of antipsychotic drugs, for many years now and he's never been the same.in other words she wasn't going to share him with anyone. So there's always that detrimental issue that can arise and I " imagine there are many more. I think there are some things in this life that are simply immoral, exceptionally unhealthy just purely wrong. I thinking the Mormons did away, legally with the whole 55 wife's Brigham Young culture and there's also good ' Warren Jeffs" and I'll end with thus. I love people, however, do many heinous, and as you kention on a m earlier vid narcissistic behavior. It's absolutely not healthy because there is ALWAYS one woman, at least that gets severely hurt. It's the nature of that particular "Beast"! I am really enjoying you! So glad I found your professional teachings! I'm going to get back to it! Thank you again, Julieann
