For the people saying marty's jumping looks goofy, he's actually testing the kid's concentration if he could actually ROCK N ROLL, moving, jumping around while doing arpeggios and not hitting a single wrong note, and most importantly not looking at the fretboard, same thing while headbanging.

Given Marty Friedman's technical level, he needs to change his guitar to one that plays better with him... Jackson guitars are actually good, but there are better ones on the market. I think the brand should pay him a lot of money to always promote the guitar brand.
3 ай бұрын
Dude is Jackson made in USA. Not a Indonesian or Chinese Jackson. Is another level of handcrafting.
@Yamagatabr3 ай бұрын
Is not like there is an industrial secret that prevents Jackson from making amazing guitars for him. Their product line just gotta fit every pocket an this may be misleading you, but for sure they can do high end stuff.
@gabrielfreire70073 ай бұрын
I know this, however, Jackson is not and is far from being one of the 5 best guitars that exist... even Ibanez itself has better quality, and I believe that Marty Friedman is only playing with Jackson because of the sponsorship.
@Yamagatabr3 ай бұрын
@@gabrielfreire7007 probably the only big guys that doesnt play for sponsorships are Yngwie and Tosin, while one is sponsored and the other owns a guitar company lol

Marty has found a great fit with Jackson guitars. His tone and technique are so distinctive, and Jackson seems to really suit his style.
@I_Will_Just_Be_Honest2 ай бұрын
He didn’t actually play those notes cleanly. In guitar playing we often times get guys who cheat their way through fast scales or sweeps by jumbling up the notes and landing on the last note to make it sound like they played the scale in some crazy time. This was the case here.
@wardrunaragnar50313 ай бұрын
It still amuses me that he can't play his own most iconic part of the solo as it is played on the album.
@Yamagatabr3 ай бұрын
He doesn't like to. He always said that. He also don't like to do covers as he finds it very difficult to play like other people, and that's what started his career as a compositor too. Basically he started playing to impress girls, and then started composing because he couldn't play covers lol he aimed for the moon and reached the stars 😂😂
@I_Will_Just_Be_Honest2 ай бұрын
Why would he? He’s already played it a million times like the album when he was actually in Megabreath. He’s tired of it and likes to spice it up to his current style.
@Emrah29082 ай бұрын
Isn’t this comment a little presumptuous, don’t you think? How the heck do you know what Marty can or cannot play given that he has played the original solo a zillion times before…Maybe you are right, maybe he is getting old but maybe he doesn’t want to.
