Service cost, maintenance, engine reliability, fuel efficiency ,space and biggest of all pricing. XL6 edges out. If you have secondary car and need mpv for family which has very very sedate performance, xl6 wins again. If you have the budget to buy a base model crysta or safari but want a petrol engine and dont care about fuel efficiency and need a sporty mpv along with space, Carens is the way to go. Also, mulyiple manufacturing defects shown all over interent with Carens, rarely see such mechanical/technical issues in Marutis.

Absolutely agreed, many things these guys manipulated or ignored like fuel eco, practicality in boot after all seats up, they have shown the suspension of xl6 like its a rickshaw’s suspension.

@@inpursuitofhappiness366 yes we can buy a 3rd part touch screen, alloy wheels central remote key lock, steering mounted controls, speakers and many accessories for that model. Wish everyone knew how Kia operates, they lure you in with this price and you end up spending a lot more just in name of different package.

The Kia barley scored 3 stars(with 6 airbag) but ertiga scored the 3 star(old one with only 2 airbags) well above the mark, xl6 which is based on ertiga feels better built as per my observation and it also has more airbags and safety than before

@@Scither- GNCAP awards ratings based on frontal impact, and in frontal impacts side or curtain airbags dont matter much, so carens would have scored the same with 2 airbags and xl6 would have scored same with 6 airbags.

I wish these people actually do some research before making such embarrassing videos, i have driven XL6 it has charging points in each row, also have driven kia and yes the suspension is a little softer and slightly better but not by a big margin. They didn’t talk about the economy which is much better in xl6. Looking at the price of kia you can buy a xuv, safari or the best MPV the innova
