I was a junior in high school and saw this original broadcast. I didn’t know who these guys were. I loved the performance though and can’t believe I found the clip! Thank you uploader!!

Saw them at the Side Door in St. Louis with Dovetail Joint...they were both AMAZING! Cannot understand how they both weren't bigger bands.

Holy crap just discovered this band today, been a bitch Walker fan for years never knew of this band though. Jesus these guys rock! Glad they have a new album coming out!

You have no idea how much fun it was to see these guys perform live! That picktoss behind the back was flawless and the harmonies are excellent
@siriusfun3 күн бұрын
That's because some of it was pre-recorded in this performance. Great band all the same.

It’s amazing to think how much M3 was a victim of the time they lived in. They were so talented, but the market for this music ended in 2004, and Butch had to pivot.
@h4ndrix10 ай бұрын
What did the market shifted to? Genuinely curious. I was too young.
@american_cosmic6 ай бұрын
@@h4ndrix it's more about what it shifted away from... rock bands fell out of style. Green Day's American idiot ('03) was the last rock/big guitars album that really hit the pop music stratosphere.
@siriusfun3 күн бұрын
@@american_cosmic In the pop-punk space, maybe. Bands like Foo Fighters went on to become bigger than ever.

This is the Butch I met and I can't get into where he's landed. I'm glad he's still valid, but I miss this stuff.

Or... way after? This was an homage to bands like The Knack, Cheap Trick, 70s glam and power pop 20yrs later. Butch himself says so.
