Oh lord Buddha, Miss Pierce had to witness and comment on this incident. 2006...., I still remember her scream very well. Playing Zvonareva, 1 set up...almost win...then bam, that fall, that scream. And then my favorite WTA player is gone forever. So sad. And Madame BMS...only miracle.....

thanks for this very insightful video. bethanies injury scenes here are very reminiscent of what happened to mary pierce that ended her career. must have been eery for mary to witness that. those screams are very harrowing :(

Sadly that was Marys last match... I prayed for years but she never came back to the tour!!!
