What a great interview .... Molly is a wonderful musician and I love listening to her music! I think we all feel like we are getting "1's" sometimes but we still enjoy making music. I heard Doyle Dykes one time at a Taylor event and walked away thinking I don't deserve to even own a guitar after hearing his fantastic playing. This interview led me down a great path today. After watching it I’m looking into Molly and see she’s done a song called “Olympia, WA,” my hometown. Cool! More digging and I see that’s a Rancid cover off her album of a bunch of eclectic covers. Now I have to have the record so I take my 8 y.o. daughter down to Easy Street and we find a limited edition aqua vinyl copy. Just yesterday my daughter was asking if anyone has a turquoise record, so she’s excited. We bring it home, put it on the turntable, and it’s amazing. A memorable day. Thanks, Mary and Molly.
