It also showed us who Jesus Christ was and is through the small but significant actions Moses did (ex. putting blood over the doors of God's people (i.e Jesus Christ, the sacrificial lamb), Moses parting the red sea to escape Pharaoh and his army ( symbolism of accepting Christ in ones life and being washed away/forgiven of ones past sins, while constantly remaining present/looking forward in life), and lastly the film showing the frustration of Moses breaking God's Commandments due to God's people quickly forgetting all that God did for them (a reflection of us and why the Jesus was the only one who could live a life we couldn't and be sacrificed on our behalf that no other could) So yeah although Jesus hasn't been born technically, He was and is still present throughout Mary life and today. so like I said before... "I hope this is Jesus Centered movie and not those ambiguous “you make your own truth,” type movie."

I love Anthony Hopkins and he looks great in this movie. I am tired of supposed Christian movies that focus so much on the person and not the message. Mary was a significant woman because she was chosen to bring Jesus into the world; but, she played a minor role in his mission. The Apostles and John the Baptist played a far greater role and yet they refused to be set up for worship, to receive prayers etc. Mary would be horrified to know how the world has idolized her. Like all others in the life of Jesus, they, she, we believers are, "servants," and all worship, idolization and significance goes to Christ. Movies like this glorify the flesh and not the Spirit.
