MISDIAGNOSIS!!! That’s been my life for the last decade. I’m so grateful for your channel. It gave me the knowledge to advocate for myself for treatment. Even after finally getting on HRT, my gyno didn’t tell me anything about symptoms, nutrition, exercise, heart health, nothing. And he keeps telling me he’s “willing to work with me” instead of just doing his job.

Hi from Canada 🇨🇦. I went into surgical menopause since I was 27. I had a Total Hysterectomy. I suffered from severe depression and anxiety. I have been on Estradiol 2mg tablets for a couple months. I'm 57. I'm feeling better.

I am almost 54, been going through total hell for about 25 years.....yes, I said 25!!! While I understand that it is very unusual for a woman to go into perimenopause at 29, it was never looked into. I was diagnosed, or misdiagnosed I should say, with Fibro, after 5 years of being told it was all in my head. I was on 26 different medications at one time, including morphine, THC spray, and the date rape drug, all of which just did permanent damage. I have been 2 years post menopause and it has been the absolute worst time of my life. I have been dealing with more mental symptoms than anything, suicidal thoughts, depression has been debilitating to say the least. It's total hell on earth to think that I will feel like this for the rest of my life....how horrifying!!!!! I am on HRT now, thanks to you, and some things are getting better but I am still fighting old school medical mentality I have been waiting, so far, since September, to be referred to an OB/GYNO that I will have to drive for 3 and a half hours to see. (I am in Canada, our health care system SUCKS!!!) I was told I may have to wait 18 months!!!!!! I did, luckily, get into a clinic that hopefully can help me in the meantime. We need to talk about all of this more, we need to shout it from the roof tops, that WE NEED HELP!!!!!! We weren't told that this would happen. We were never prepared. Comes right out of left field.....how I wish I knew even half of what could happen!!! I have even started an unedited YT channel in hopes that someone that has felt or feels the way I do may see themselves in my story and not have to endure the hell I have. (The stories I could tell)!!!! This is a global issue and I truly feel that it is now our duty to ensure that the next generations are WELL educated on this "season" of our life!!!!

I'm so grateful I found you as I'm dealing with perimenopause at 43! I found a naturopath who specializes in it and am considering the HRT. Your high-level information along with research knowledge is absolutely invaluable, thank you for being there for all your sisters! This journey is no joke, and I'm telling everyone I can about this, because it needs to be talked about more- as does all women's health! Thanks again ❤❤❤

thank you for your videos. you are the reason why I have decided to try and get myself out of my rut with menopause and my mental health issues caused by this. I was blown away when I saw you on Mel Robbins and found myself nodding to everything you were saying. I was once this confident tv host from the UK and never in a million years did I think I would turn into the person I have become. On the back of watching you I was amazed at the scientific side of this and decided to set my own youtube channel up dedicated to woman who are lost right now. I'm just in the process of perfecting the technical side of things but wanted to say a massive thank you🙂

You should write a book specifically for physicians that I can just anonymously send to my doctors office. There are no physicians located in my area on your list and my pcp looked at me like I was crazy when I said I believe I'm in perimenopause and then ordered labs (well half the ones I asked for) and then proceeded to tell me I wasn't in menopause. Obviously, I'm not in menopause. I never said I was. I don't think anyone in my doctors office has any knowledge of perimenopause and it's sad. It's depressing. Its frustrating. Something has to change in this country.

What makes me sad is the amount of women that doesn't care about changing the approach to this season. I always go to female pcp or gyno and just haven't been lucky they don't care they just want to give birth control, anti depressants and ibuprofen. No hormones because I am "too young" (I am 47 and obviously not feeling young with all these symptoms lol) I've been just coming to this channel and Dr Berg's and that's been my solution... Sad but true. Blood work indicates I'm perfectly fine so Dr is just looking at me with a straight face like.... Oh well it's just perimenopause don't be a wimp.... It's unbelievable that a lot of women want others to suffer why can't we just be more united for our own benefit we are all sisters not enemies... Thank you Dr for the work you do thank you for your support and kindness and you are a fresh air for a lot of us please don't ever change🎉❤

78yrs old using "over the counter" Bioidentical ( 1mg of Estriol & 0.25 mg Estradiol ) & Progesterone for 20yrs. Recent blood work shows my estrogen is 85 & testerone 38. I've never used testosterone so I was surprised at that number. I cannot afford to buy any prescription hormones. I'm active, yoga & weights & I don't take any pharmaceuticals. Cannot find a doctor in my area that will even talk to me about hormones because of my age!

I’m currently miserable with losing sleep.. I’m seeing a natural path for BHRT for low estrogen and low progesterone. I have no uterus. My body has rejected the progesterone prescribed in different ways.. 100 mg in pills and then 200 mg in cream. I was getting major anxiety and heart palpitations, exact opposite of what I was hoping it would do to help me with sleep. I’m now currently off all progesterone, but saliva tests show I’m low. What do I do next? I am losing sleep and my cortisol is high…. My natural Path says if my body is rejecting progesterone, it will reject all forms of it…. Help!!!!! Please!!!! I’m 44 yrs and had a hysterectomy in 2020;;;; I’m now getting prescribed ambien and other medications for sleep and nothing is working
@nicolemerz1731
@nicolemerz1731 23 күн бұрын
Heart palpitations most likely come from the additional, new estradiol in the system, not from progesterone... Watch Dr Louise Newson's progesterone videos... she says if levels are too low it sometimes shows also as if women were reacting negatively. Besides, cream is normally not (easily) absorbed as the molecule is too big to get through the skin anyway. If I were your provider I would try 200mg of prog pill taken in the evening 1h before going to bed ... together with a good magnesium! 100mg might just have been too little to counter the E2. Do not give up too quickly, I know it is hard to believe it can end well, but it will. It needs tweaking and experimenting. Only less than 5% do not tolerate progesterone. And among these numbers might be some who are sensitive to fluctuating levels at first but not to your own body's natural hormone! 🍀🍀🍀 Best wishes to you and your healing journey from Germany 🇩🇪 💕

That’s a very low dose. I had nearly debilitating muscle and joint pain. I started with .05 patch and it did wonders for the pain and stiffness. (Also seemingly cured the arthritis in my thumb.) I’m on the .1 patch now, because I had to get it up to that level for it to be effective against my migraines. All of my symptoms in the “musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause category” are gone or almost gone. (I’ve also been diagnosed with stenosis in a couple of my cervical vertebrae, but it’s not bothering me now.) 😊

They usually start you out with almost placebo levels. That may help hot flashes but not much else. I started on 1 mg oral estradiol, then went up to 2 and no on 2.5 oral estradiol. That seemed to be the right dose. I also take 100 mg natural progesterone nightly. And the estradiol in the morning

@marlarangeloff5163 25 күн бұрын
@tatianehannisdal5215 get your blood estradiol level checked. 2 mg is a medium dose. Many menopausal doctors believe that having a serum of 100 pgmL is optimal. That's not pgmol by the way many people are confused with that. Remember we made a lot more than that before menopause started. So I wouldn't worry about upping it in the least

Hi Im 55 years old post menopausal started HRT in July 2024 because I had extreme joint pain/hot flashes All of my symptoms are gone now. heart disease runs on my father side. He has had 3 strokes in his lifetime. so I wanted some test run from the heart doctor so I went to a heart doctor in September 2024 and they said I had 40% blockage on one side. He didn’t say anything about me coming off HRT question do you feel as if it’s safe for me to stay on ? I feel like I’ve had a lot of benefit from being on it he wanted to put me on a Staten. I tried one pill and had extreme nerve pain all over my body so I didn’t do it anymore. He also told me to add an omega-3 I have EOE and I can’t do fish. I have a reaction to it. and I also have Hashimoto’s but my blood work is within normal range and I am not on medication. As of now my doctor feels I am OK not to be, but I am extremely sensitive to a lot of different things which could have to do with my EOE but I’m not sure if my Hashimoto’s is also playing a part in that, but could that be true if I am within normal range and not needing to be on medication? Thank you. I know this is extremely long, but I have a lot of anxiety over this. Everything I try to help me I have a reaction to.❤️

My blood test shows that i still have estrogen enough ( my doctor's opinion 🙄) Start estradiol transdermic spray 2 month ago ( i beg my doctor due to simptoms like hot flashes, change in the mood etc) but she advised me to just use 1 pump of the estradiol that is 1.56 mg. I m wondering if it's enough. And also i ask her what about progesterone but she says that i don't need. So i m kind of in doubt.

Is there a health advantage to do the Estridial patch and the Progestone pill together, versus the Combi patch (estorgen & progesterone)? I tried the Estridial Patch 0.025mg & 100 mg Progesterone pill..first night went ok 2nd night I was up late as usual (insomnia) and as I was walking to the kitchen to get a glass of water and BAM! All of a sudden, I felt very dizzy. Almost like I was drunk. This may sound crazy, but I was afraid to go to sleep bc I thought I might not wake up. This could be just my serious case of anxiety( my own thought) Next day I was very groggy. I stopped taking both and called my doc's office. She offered progesterone to be inserted vaginally (I don't want to do that) or begin taking the Combi-Patch instead. Combi-Patch seems so easy and simple. Why wouldn't that be the first option to be offered? Should I have given myself a longer amt of time on the Estridial Patch 0.025mg & Progesterone 100mg for my body to get used to it?
