Regarding Park. Hold both paddles and puts in neutral. then just open one door and it goes into park. Mine (cielo) gets delivered next week. thanks for the honest review

This car scores big if you're into exotic looks, exotic engine at an exotic price to ensure a degree of exclusivity. But I've said it before and I'll say it again, the C8 Corvette, and all it's variants, is the better car in every measurable way. Even if you disagree or don't like the C8, you have to acknowledge the skill and respect the capabilities of the GM engineers who created the C8 Corvette. Love it or hate it, they effectively democratized the rear mid-engine supercar.

Hi, from Japan!! Handsome guys on the beautiful car. What a nice shot. Brake is one of the most important parts of being a great car. I wish if Maserati had adopted greater brake on it.

These are already depreciating like crazy. They are already being listed for $190k for basically new examples. When they get down to $140k for lightly used examples, these will start to be very tempting.

It's not good enough for the price tag in terms of outright performance in terms of what you get, and while very pretty it doesn't seem remotely special enough. If it came out at 175k-200k I think it would be super appealing but once you get into McLaren money, come on.

Great looking car, outside the looks and the rarity though, not sure I’d take this over a C8 Z06. Seems to me the mechanicals in the Z06 are more special in the end, and for half the price.

I'm perplexed. You could have put the car in sport mode or GT mode for the street, and it wouldn't have been as stiff. But then you chose to put it in Corsa/race mode and then proceeded to mention/complain how stiff the car is over bumpy roads. That doesn't seem entirely fair, to me.

We drove the car extensively in every mode. We expect it to be stiff in corsa mode, but our ride commentary comes from driving it in every mode over multiple days. Thanks for watching!

You keep mentioning dry weight. All the fluids AND a full tank of gas won't add up to anywhere CLOSE to 400lbs.

Maybe not. But the C8 corvette was introduced as weighing around 3300lbs dry. And when people started weighing them it weighed over 3600. Maserati’s claimed weight for this car can’t be right. We don’t have scales so we’re giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it’s like the Corvette situation. Since no one outside of Maserati has weighed the Cielo, we believe the manufacture number is low. Thanks for watching!

For those who can afford to swap out their $350k supercar every few years, they'll be bored with this car in less than a year. For those who can't and have finally saved enough for their first exotic supercar, I don't see why they wouldn't buy a used MC20 or simply get a Ferrari 296. There will never be buyer's remorse with a Ferrari.
