This episode gets me every time. That moment when Sophia comes out of the barn is one of the most iconic moments in the series. Thank goodness Daryl was quick to react and stopped Carol before she could get to Sophia. He saved her life. Everyone else was too shocked and frozen to react. Just heartbreaking. And now we're moving on to a whole new level of complicated dynamics and interactions between all the various characters. I love Season 2. There's just so much rich character development. And I love your reactions, too!

Rick asked god for a sign, anything to find Sophia. Then the family who put her in the barn shot his son and offered shelter and help to right their wrongs with God for shooting a boy. The amount of religious faith that actually works is crazy.

If it makes you feel better the young lady who played Sophia is still alive & acting. She plays the daughter of detective Harry Bosch on the Amazon Prime series Bosch. It's an excellent show you should take the time to watch someday.

Amazing episode! One of my favourites from S2. Regarding Hershel's POV vs Shane's, I love how this show really gives understandable perspectives from almost every character which makes siding with one of the other kinda difficult sometimes :') Hope you enjoy the rest of the show!
