Thank you for the dimensions on the needle clearances. The one of ours was too far left and would barely ever tie. The other one was rubbing on the right side but way up almost touching the big cast cam to the back side of the knotter. As soon as we worked on ours getting both of them closer to the twine disk and properly clearances to the right side they now knot all the time. We had to make some major sharpening and bending/adjusting to the twine cutters to be up against the wine disks and finally cleanly cut the twine off rather than ripping the knot apart or it ripping the twine. I never knew you could flip the knotters up. Once I saw that the light bulb went off and my fear of working on the entire knotter assembly was gone. Thanks from @weaversstonehousefarm

Thanks for watching! It's surprising how much more work it is to create a video than to just fix something.

8pm. Why does the baler cut the twine after tying the knot. Every bale has one twine cut .

Ours was doing this. It wouldn’t cut the he twine all the time, and it would rip it apart or rip the knot apart. Flipped the knitters up, Took the cutters off, sharpened with a flat hand file. Then adjusted them to be very close to the bottom of the twine disks. It took a little bending and tweaking of the cutter to get it close and flat. @weaverstonehousefarm
