Hey Erik, as i am getting ready for Boston I have similar training as yours and i am at times feeling exactly the same mental and physical fatigue these workouts you described are not joke 💪 i am learning run the easy run’s easy and hard ones hard. On easy runs i only run by heart rate now 🙂. As per racing shoe Saucony elite they resupply them to various online stores saucony, running warehouse, road running sports etc i pre ordered them and they should be available at the beginning of March! Remember coming out of the box is always hard but rewarding 😉💪

Nice workout. Right, what's with the Endorphin Elite? I've had the same problem and I wanted a new pair for Boston. Interesting that your second choice is the Endorphin Pro 3. I'm thinking about that, or the brand new Endorphin 4, or Vaporfly, which I love for speed, but the Sauconys fit my feet so perfectly and they're the super comfy. Keep on rockin' it!

I'm always wondering how easy "easy" has to be. I mean I feel like I'm able to do all my workouts after an easy run, but I'm not sure if it is maybe a little bit to fast for really maximising my fat burning capabilities. You hear a lot about people having a lot of success with real low heart rate training after all. I can run 10k under 44 minutes but my marathon was still something like 3:55. So I need to get a lot slower in order to not hit a wall. Maybe my fat burning is too inefficient or my hydration is too bad or something else holding me back?
